#Canucks have been out-chanced 18-8 since the end of the first period.

Ugly stuff.
They play a single period a night.

Fair enough. I still don't care about the dbag thing, but if it's a locker room problem then I agree he had to go. Some guys also just grow up and mature after bouncing around. E.Kane is a leader in the Oilers locker room now after getting kicked out of the Jets locker room
- Nucker101

I think it has a little more than playing for a better team to be truthful. I think after 3 or 4 teams toss you aside you reevaluate what you are doing wrong. Both McCann and Hall were going through teams pretty quickly. Both talented players, so when a team gives up on you easily you question why. Like not being able to hold onto a girlfriend. Add Kane to that same list.

Yeah, but you didn't hear poop about Kane last year when the Oilers went on a roll with him or about Hall since he's joined the Bruins

The Canucks song when they come out of the dressing room onto the ice should be Beck's "Loser"

No it’s a cup winning core. Just need to boost the 4th line and more 3rd pairing D

Done right we could be as low as bottom 5 by my estimations. 8th is good odds. 10-12 almost a certainty.

From Dom's model at the Athletic.. how many wins the averaged draft pick has been worth. Interesting to show the general drop off per round. Seems like after round 3 it's really pretty negligible

Big stretch of games coming up for the Canucks, string of four or five losses in a row and they could find themselves in a bottom five position. Connor Bedard is worth tanking for, he’s unbelievable! Almost Crosby-like!

Carol called it. No matter what they do Bedard is calling lol

Where was this yesterday when Nucker was showing us all how great having multiple late round picks was going to change the fortunes of the franchise.

If anyone is wondering about buyouts. Boeser was signed at 25&U so you only have to pay 1/3 of the contract. $2,216,667 for 4 seasons is the buyout.

He has 21 points in 29 games. How does he keep ending up on the scoresheet

Garland is the same with the 25&U but his is 850K for 2 than 1.8M for 4.

It is based on when you get bought out, not when you sign the contract.

From this board and all the rumours of cost. I'd say at least 10 first round picks are going to be shipped out this year in a very good draft.

You are correct. I thought it was when the contract was signed. So both it would be too late to buy them out by the time June 15th comes around next year at the cheaper cost.

Might as well keep them then.

Might have to eat salary, in order to move them, but it reduces the length of time they are on the books, over a buyout, plus it should increase the return, whatever that may be.
