Home you even get last change.

Not really the time to fire the coach if you have an actual plan for the future as most good coaches are probably still coaching somewhere.

- manvanfan

Fire him asap. Need a new voice to see what this roster can or cannot do leading up to the TDL. One more way to evaluate & maybe up trade values.

Oops. I didn’t know Green was so poopty or he’d gotten more outta Gudas. Still I’ll eat some crow.
- Nighthawk

Gudbranson has sucked everywhere since then except under Sutter, who only played him against bottom 6 lines, he's just not that good.

JB had the right idea trying to trade McCann for a dman, but he failed terribly at it

Guds had maybe one decent season in Calgary and has been bad at all times.

It's all in good fun looking back.

The only reason that goals were hard to come by tonight is because nobody was cheating the game. Everyone playing the right way.

Casey Cizikas wears #53 for the Islanders, what number will Horvat wear?

We’ve seen what this roster can do. Every year, for a decade. The answer is not much.

JB fixated on large D. Buds Myers says it all. Size is overrated without other factors being a reason.

It is not as black and white as people make that trade out to be. You have to go back to that era. Canucks were referred as the Vancouver Marshmallows soft as fu@k. They were aging quicker than some of the trolling on here. They had no young players in the 24-age bracket and McCann was a whiney little b1tch who didn't fit in to the Sedin country club.

They needed an injection of youth badly. When Guddy got here Canucks asked him to fight every battle with no support and he basically said GFY and fight your own fights.

I’ve seen what BB has done. He’s fine with a good vet laden team which this is not. A new face as in a task master who can develop kids is worth a try. Nothing to lose.

He sucks and is a bottom airing dman at best if coached by someone like Sutter, but it's over with now so who cares, just good for some laughs like my Nate Schmidt hype

yeah that matches the eye test too, they didn't spend a lot of time in their own zone. I don't expect that l;ine to continue playing well though, seems like a weird random mix.

Kirby Dach like.

I think this started with someone talking about how good McCann is, but two other teams walked away from him also. Good for him that he finally got his sh1t together and got rid of his me first attitude.

Without Pearson team is just trying to find anyone to help Miller keep the puck out of his own net.

The dbag thing becomes more of a problem on losing teams, Taylor Hall has that rep and the Bruins locker room has handled him

How is that possible? Miller -2, Dries -1, Garland -1

Together they were driving play but they played apart most of the game?

I never liked JM. Maybe when he was drafted, and they asked him how he felt about being drafted by the Canucks and he responded "Whatever" left me with a dislike for the person. Gave me Steve Frances feelings all over again. I am still glad they kicked his ass out of town.

Fair enough. I still don't care about the dbag thing, but if it's a locker room problem then I agree he had to go. Some guys also just grow up and mature after bouncing around. E.Kane is a leader in the Oilers locker room now after getting kicked out of the Jets locker room
