Benning sidekick, Chiarelli, how those two won a Cup in Boston I’ll never know.

McCann with his 17th tonight, one point closer to 500…18 with the Canucks.

What did trade turn out to be again?

Asplund and McCann for Gudbranson?

And us idiots were okay with it

Ya, I got your Sarcasm, it was good for a laugh.

My New Years resolution is to be more like my real life self and less like the foolish online personality so I’m going to be pretty boring from here on in and I won’t partake in the foolishness.

Don't forget that late round pick Jonathan Ang. Currently playing in the Swiss-A league

I was never onboard, didn’t like Gudbranson’s game and wanted to keep McCann. Obviously I can’t remember everything but that’s what I recall. I could be wrong?

I don't remember my take, but I assume I thought it was an overpay but said it's okay since Gudbranson can be a physcial #5 dman

this site really needs a search function, no one here will admit that they liked that deal or any of the other bad ones. But I remember there were arguments after every trade back then so it makes no sense that we all agreed

I've eaten crowd on Schmidt and I think I was okay with Forsling for Clendening

I called Miller a fringe 2nd line player but was okay with the price that they paid for that fringe 2nd line player.

shows why he's a #5 dman and not a saviour

But I'm sure the next age gap guy they trade for will be a core player

Raty isn’t a great skater, very choppy stride. At least from the five shifts I’ve seen him play. Not terrible, but not smooth.

I mean they have to justify trading a 2nd away to make room for him. He's fine as a #5 guy, no issues with him in that role. But if he's being relied on as a top 4 guy, I'm not seeing it unless he improves.

Gubrandson plays a heavy game.

McCann couldn't maintain weight through the rigors of an NHL season so......

I think I called that trade last year before TDL . Call me Benning jr.
