I liked Yurov & Snuggerud who fell.
An example of a trade down if no RHD or C available that made sense.

Which personally I'd be fine with. Retain 1.2 on Miller, makes him 6.8 which is a nicer number. Rangers don't really have anyone that's a straight cap dump, but if they have to send a contract or two back that could work.

Hopefully JR's in on the Laf talks. It would explain the silence from this group.

Could very well be, JR's not interested in futures, he won't be around to see them.
- VanHockeyGuy

That's fine if you are still selling, just about half the team

RHD & C. Neither of which were there at 15th. Lek for potential aka BPA or make a move.
- Nighthawk

Any D or C. It’s not like the Canucks are set at LHD long term.

OEL is already a 3rd pairing guy. Hughes needs to be sheltered.

Build from the wings out?

Once Horvat is gone, the center position is going to be poop. Miller is a winger who can take faceoffs but this management seems convinced that he’s a full time center.

So basically two wingers get to have fun with EP and the rest will get (frank)ed once Bo is gone.

Not to mention he goes from playing with Zibanejad at Center, but he also goes from playing with Fox/Lindgren/Miller/Trouba/Schneider to Hughes/OEL/Myers/Bear

Sounds like a great place for Laf to turn it around

Any D but no point in reaching. Had no 2nd then took LHD RePetey in the 3rd

Ya, they are loaded on left defense, goalies and wingers.

You can never have too many wingers.

The Canucks just accepted the award for best actor/model and now they think they’re actors.

Baby steps. If EP 2.0 is your top lhd prospect followed by (frank) all then you still have almost nothing in lhd pipeline.

I’m all for exclusively drafting C/D these next couple of drafts

There is a few other LHD late picks in the system. Can’t fix everything at once. Focus on RHD & C is needed & hardest to do.

BPA at C/D

I would not pass up on a higher graded LHD by my scouts for a lower graded RHD

Wow.......Are there any survivors in this thread? I imagine a Lord of the Flies scenario has played out a couple of times by now.

Or have you all had enough time together that you are all besties?

At this point it's the bond of hate that's keeping me going.

Yes

Yes

That said I have my own ideas on BPA & skill set. C has to have legit top 6 potential & D legit top 4. Speed & skating & mobility without being a midget. No offense Reuby 🤪

One skill we lack in is not enough play making from the C position. The biggest lack is D mobility to go with the size.
