Big game tonight against the Blues. Game time 7:30 for whatever reason.
Should be a real good one, with both these teams trying to keep their playoff dreams alive.
6-2 St.Louis.

Blues have been better lately. If Canucks want to win they will need to get in Binner’s kitchen.

Elliotte on Bo;

"I think he has made it clear he prefers not to negotiate in season. Canucks are free to come to him with offers but I don't think him or his representatives are going to be kickstarting any talks."

Some good news for the Canucks, they have some key performers locked up for next season
JTM, at 8
Pouty at 7.35
Boeser at 6.65
Garland at 4.95
Mikheyev at 4.75
Hughes at 7.85
OEL at 7.26
Myers at 6

All this excellent talent for the low price of 69% of 57.81 million or 69% of the cap.
This leave the Canucks with 25.61 million remaining, but that quickly starts to disappear when you start taking into consideration that others are also under contract, including Pearson at 3.5
Lazar at 1
Stillman at 1.35
Poolman at 2.5
For an additional 8.35 of capspace used up, leaving just over 17 million in cap space.
This obviously doesn't include any player currently signed for next season, such as Aman and Martin.

That remaining 17 million remaining, Ned's to cover 11 players, to complete a 23 man roster.

Some rough times lay ahead, unless this team can get several players on an ELC, although do you want young players coming into this mess of a roster?

I based this on the cap going up 1 million to 83.5

That would involve getting into the tough areas, so probably not going to happen,

Nope, skill teams don't do that.

Sad when you see a player like Garland heading to those tough areas, but much bigger player like Mikheyev stays clear of those areas.

Hopefully those traits/weaknesses are identified while management is "evaluating" the roster which is over a year now.

I have been waiting for Nucker to post a blog, but I got impatient waiting for his lazy ass and did this hoping he might catch on and do one.

Sounds like Dermott has been sent down for conditioning, Delia also sent down, with Silovs recalled.

Remember when they let that top 4 right handed dman walk for nothing in favour of Myers/Schmidt and most of us were okay with it?

As much as I sh1t on this team and will continue to do so, I like the Bear trade so far.

People are laughing at the Allvin After Hours interview.

Horvat, Boeser, Schenn, Kuzmenko, Boudreau all don't know what's going on with their future.

This club is a joke.

He's probably tired of being ignored by Pouty's clique.
