Adding to that getting a 9oa for a goalie is rare or less. Ty LL

Now we wait to see if the Schneider trade tree continues or gets better or worse.

We could use the forever need of RHD &/or playmaking C next draft. Boeser needs that if still here.

So difficult to be optimistic of in season trades so maybe the TDL is a win if not off season moves MUST happen to remake this roster properly.

Problem is, many lifelong supporters are just about done with this team, now. Waiting until the draft before doing anything won't help.
Also, the Canucks have holes at every position, not just RHD and centre.

A further also, this team is not going to be fixed in 1 offseason, especially when they added to the existing mess, this past offseason.

Disagree on every position but if referring to prospects yes.

Not thinking it’ll take 1 season but it will be a big 1 season to turn it around & improve on as time goes by & draft/develop occurs.

Toda.

The house I'm living in is all decorated for Christmas so I want my Mother to come over and see it, it's great Jewish Mother repellent.

I watched the Grand kids decorate their tree Friday night it was a great laugh.

Just what position do you figure the team is good at.

C is fine
-needs more playmaking
G is solid enough
Wing depth isn’t a problem
Play drivers a problem
Weak D a big problem
Team D & PK a big problem

Roughly my take

Summarizing most problems…

PK sucks playing chase.
Early lousy penalties exacerbate it.

Team D lacks tenacity 1 on 1 & any mistake seems to find our net.

Demko not himself

Simple plays as in breakouts or passing subpar putting it politely.

Sure there is more details

Yes. I was saying Gillis had one good pick in 7 years same as Benning although some will say Hughes was a very good pick also, but I am not a big fan of QH.

How are they at fare checking, backchecking, board battles, physical contact(giving and recieving), knowing who to pick up in own end, how to make a line change, how to dump the puck in, to allow for a line change.

These are just a few basic things I think the Canucks suck at. A lot of this is taught in pee wee ffs. This team is a load of garbage.
I have been saying the players are a bad mix, for quite some time, my position hasn't changed, although it is nice to see some of the guzzlers get on- board.😁

Virtanen was the king of dumping the puck in. Elite while 3 on 3 in OT. Wonder if he’s available.

Never said the mix was good. Hockey IQ overall is obviously lacking.
On dump ins not good execution nor does the pressure get there in time.
Zone entries usually die after from poor passing or choices & the board battles a part of that. The 4th line is easily better at it than the other 3 lines minus Petey.
Physicality is not lacking like most would like to claim. What is lacking in it though is finishing checks by the softer players.
As for picking up checks it’s the biggest issue hence 1v1 sucks. The backcheck isn’t tenacious cuz few bust their asses.

All the problems & female doging aside BB won’t see the end of the season. Only another miraculous run saves his ass. Simply not enough hunger throughout the lineup for that to happen. Team won’t work hard every shift every game. Positioning & smarts are another concern. Comes down to structure as JR said & it ain’t there or consistent enough. That’s on coaches & the make up of the roster & the work ethic.

No one on this team plays as a team just a bunch of individuals.

My buddy/business partner is in town from Korea and he's a big Canuck fan, just like Nighthawk he thinks the team just needs some tinkering. A bunch of us got together for dinner and watched the game, in between periods he went on a rant about this American he knows in Korea who is a bible thumping christian and at the end of his rant he said some people have to believe in crap and I said "well you believe in the Canucks" even he had to laugh.

😂

My idea of tinkering is Boeser needs a new address. Garland as well. Gain that cap & find more gains. Buyout Pearson. Retain & dump Myers. Trade Schenn then resign. Resign Bo if no haul is gotten. Kuz 4/4-4.5m. Use cap on 1 or more D like Gavrikov Gudas & Soucy. They add toughness & defense. Hope on Pod making it as a regular to fill that team player need.

It’s a lot to ask for of any Mgmt team that would be here. Unraveling JB’s mess isn’t easy. TL was onto something. Put a hit on FA
