Tough loss last night. I think Horvat for Newhook and Schenn for a pick will help improve the team and also shut up the stupid rebuild fans.

I’d then use the Schenn pick to trade for a healthy scratch dman who needs a fresh start and maybe sign another winger in free agency.

Hopefully Boudreau won’t keep holding this team back.

Clearly you never watched PA's detailed interview last night. Regardless of which Canucks are in play, Allvin is happy with this group. They are the "6th youngest team in the NHL" according to PA, so people will need to have some patience while players like "Stillman continue to develop". No trades are imminent and probably won't be until the summer.

Well that’ll sure make the team better and improve their playoff chances.

Canucks' record against other teams sorted by record:

Above .500:
7-12-1

At or Below .500:
6-2-2

Just need to play more bottom 10 teams and avoid the top 20 teams. Brutal schedule.

Honest question, how many of those six wins against below .500 teams were won in three on three overtime? Which isn’t representative of their reality. #EP40factor

Someone pointed out that 6th youngest is a straight up fairy tale. That was based on opening day rosters which included Klimovich(cap reasons) and Rathbone who’s just here to practice, plus Pod who isn’t on the team right now.

They’re like 16th youngest or something in reality(even with Pod).

Just watched a bit of Allvin on After Hours, he is as hard to listen to , as his team is to watch.

Especially seeing the last GM was so articulate.

Some like a defenseman that this team could use.

How did that big centre, Jake Sloan look?

- Reubenkincade

He had a good first half of the game. Got 3rd star. Not overly speedy, but a strong net front/net driving guy. Take all of this with a grain of salt because Tri-Cities faded pretty badly in the 3rd. We joked that it looked like both teams went out for beers the night before.

Lou Lamorello >>>> Jim Rutherford

I hope Horvat pulls a John Tavares.

He has no trade protection, so he can't.

It’s not that Allvin is hard to listen to, regarding his articulation, it’s just that he’s extremely evasive. Jim Benning was just flat out dumb.

He can choose to negotiate after the season only on a new deal, which would be a huge blow to the Canucks and lower his value.

Not sure why so much doom and gloom in here, the team has locked up JTM, for 7 more seasons, OEL and Quinnie are locked up for another 4 , Garland and Mikheyev for another 3, Brock for another 2, all key players only eating up about 40 million in capspace

I bet OEL is bought out in the summer.

Why even interview the guy then? He said SFA, Garrett & Oake are afraid/not allowed to ask direct questions. All a bunch of fluff.

Already punched it in.

If people keep paying for games and expensive hot dogs this is what we get. I didn't bother watching last night. I have no idea of when the next game is or who they are playing. I am doing my part.

Didn’t watch either, I usually miss the live games and then I’ll watch later so I can fast forward through commercials/intermissions.

The way I look at it is that 1 hour of wasted time is progress from 2 and a half hours of wasted time

Like I said earlier everyone was laughing at VAN at the brew pub last night, to the point they turned off the volume and put music on. The apathy is real.
