I honestly wonder if every other organization is as much as a cluster-f**k in the front office as the Vancouver Canucks. It's truly astonishing!

It's fucking embarrassing, Aquilini is an idiot but it looks good on him.

I know this sounds crazy, but I would try to build the team around Petey Kuz Podz Mikheyev and even Garland and replace the rest. Schenn I would be tempted to sign for three more years.

I am starting to warm to Joshua and OhMan but the rest can flock off.

- VANTEL

I don't think the rest of the league's GM's want any of Vancouver's garbage (aside from Horvat) unless they can get it for nothing. There's seems to be an opinion around the league that this is a franchise that can be had. That's just my personal opinion. It's been a long time since the Canucks pulled off a clear winning trade.

I love that he and the team are getting heat in the local and national media. He must be squirming, that filthy rich scumbag.

I've decided that the rest of today will be a SRV day

- A_SteamingLombardi

Imagine if SRV had lived and the music we would have all been blessed with. His body of work is impressive as is of course and I have him in the top 5 blues guitarists of all time. Hell, maybe even top 5 all time. I've only seen 4-5 other players manage a fretboard like SRV .

RIP

May as well toss the vinyl on now...

If you really want to split hairs on the topic, other than Orr it's a chicken sh!t franchise for the most part. That 2011 Bruins team had no business sharing the same ice surface as the 2011 Nucks. All in all we should have still found a way to win.

Something like that happened to me with a gas mask, weed, and my mother. I had some explaining to do and I was so high.

You realize they were trying talking about getting more teams into the play-in thingy, and you have the top 8, which make it anyways.

OV is already the greatest, with Mike Bossy a close 2nd.
- NorthNuck

Bossy is & was better. Played in a rougher & tougher era cutting his career short from wear & tear.

I was just trying to pull bloated into a debate

It’s certainly a fun topic to discuss as there’s so many variables involved. It’s amazing that Ovechkin is 37 and he’s still scoring at an incredible rate. Bossy, Lemieux and Gretzky’s careers were already with over win or in serious decline from injuries or simply age.

- Pacificgem

NHL wasn’t for pansies & pussles back then. You actually had to have your head on a swivel. Don’t see front of the net abuse lije back then or Stevens lighting up ppl. Hello ERIC

I also have access to the internet, just so you know.

Javelinas Are A New World Pig

The javelina is a peccary. While there are three species recognized in the Americas, only the collared peccary (Peccary tajacu) occurs in North America. Peccaries are a new world pig; yes, a pig, but not exactly the same pig that most of us recognize from the farm. New world pigs belong to the Tayassuidae family, which evolved about 30 million years ago from a close common ancestor of the old world or “farm” pigs in the Suidae family. In the simplest version of a very long and complex evolutionary story, peccaries made it across a land bridge from Europe to the Americas, leaving the old world pigs behind. Freed of competition with their old-world counterparts, they colonized the Americas and are still here today.

- Pacificgem

Because they use pig as a nickname doesn't make it a pig which is of the Swine family. Peccary are not in the swine family. Seems they do have a common ancestor... but the species are separated.

I knew this before the internet went public.
