They’re in deep. Trading Horvat creates another hole as he’s the #1 face off guy in the league in terms of win %. With puck possession being so huge in the NHL, it’ll affect us more than we realize.
Unfortunately Benning Gambled on Myers and OEL and it cost us horribly. It’s going to take a competent gm 5-10 years to clean this up… and I’m not sure this Group is competent, they’ve gambled on Boeser and Miller and lost. In addition to Boeser requesting a trade, it’s come out this morning that Rathbone has requested one as well.

What a mess.

The whole things a mess, you are 100% correct. Trading Horvat should start/signal a rebuild, but they’ll keep throwing good money after bad and chasing their tails I’m sure.

"The Canucks are putting the ball in his court, they've made a fair offer, he said no, he's essentially decided where his future lies - and it's not as a Canuck."

As reported yesterday, I think Horvat’s seen enough of the poop-show in Vancouver that it’s time for a change of scenery no matter how much they offer him.

- Pacificgem

This was not reported at all , mearly speculated by a some talking heads

Yes and with the Canucks possession numbers dropping by 20%, and how few puck pursuers that we have… people will finally see just how bad this team really is. That being said hopefully they hold off of naming a captain for a few years. I’m tired of the passive, lacklustre captains we’ve had for the last 30 years.
Next captain, we need should be tenacious, mean and passionate.

Well maybe you can but I’m almost 60 years old…that probably wouldn’t end well for me, even though I’m in great physical condition as I’m still very active in sports. One of those javelina pigs rushed at me and Henrik, our lab, the other day, and he was a big fucker, I thought I was gonna have to wrestle it.

Everytime I see someone post a Gear tweet, it makes me sad that he was working in the Canucks front office for years.

Frickin classless POS organization, the only thing good about them is Bergeron, who's not only a world-class player but a world-class person. Everyone else is a POS like this a-hole!! Glad they lost their last two Cup appearances.
