I lost $20 on the Kraken last night, but I won $20 on the Flyers game with the under -5.5

How sad is that after how poorly they finished the last six or seven years and they have no prospects to speak of. Just shameful. I know they won’t but the organization should pull an Arizona and go for scorched earth rebuild. At least the fans would have something to look forward to even if it was only the possibility of a bright future.

I am actually looking forward to seeing Petey2 play in the world juniors. Klimovich is hot and cold, but he is still only 19 and scoring again after being benched. They are not hot prospects, but they have a shot. Silovs is a decent prospect also.

I was just trying to pull bloated into a debate

It’s certainly a fun topic to discuss as there’s so many variables involved. It’s amazing that Ovechkin is 37 and he’s still scoring at an incredible rate. Bossy, Lemieux and Gretzky’s careers were already with over win or in serious decline from injuries or simply age.

Yeah, I suppose that variable is what makes people turn to goal scoring rates/averages over base stats. There is something to be said for longevity though, I look forward to seeing OV break the record, whenever it happens.

My buddy went moose hunting and all he got was grouse, he came home with 14, in past years he never even saw a grouse, plus he was enjoying playing with his uncle's 410.

Both Klimovich and Podkolzin need time and patience to further develop. Klim has some good skill. Read an article about Tage Thompson in The Athletic this morning about patience with draft picks.
