The team didn't need to make that deal, but the GM telegraphed that deal for almost a year beforehand.

Arizona has a barn load of draft picks from other GMs as well. Look what it has done for them.

Benning was a sitting duck of course he was in a win now mode. Do you think he cares what happens in seven years? JR will do the same and has with Miller. Next u8p Bo.

When the owner says get him signed and win now GMs will do stupid things.

I like the Mikheyev signing a lot more than I like the JTM signing.

Yes. Overpayment is made for goals alone. Mix in elite at faceoffs ... in what is now a possession league ... we should get a boatload for Bo.

Too bad we don't have 3 of him to trade, because that's what it would take to get some traction going on this rebuild. Even a homerun with Bo hardly makes a dent ... cupboards are just too bare.
