I'd assume most players with draft pedigree that get waived get offered around for trade first.

Ya you’re probably right, but I do think someone takes a swing. Not unlike Puujujavri

Great OT win by the Coyotes over the lowly Flyers tonight, Keller with the hat-trick. Hayton hasn’t been good this year, talented kid but needs a change of scenery. Hayton for Boeser and Rathbone?
- DraftandDestroy

God I hope not. Hoping for picks and/or d prospects

#Canucks practice lines on Sunday at Rogers Arena, based on line rushes:

Höglander-Horvat-Garland
Joshua-Miller-Boeser
Kuzmenko-Dries-Mikheyev
Studnicka-Åman-Lazar

Burroughs-OEL
Hughes-Schenn
Stillman-Myers
Dermott-Bear
So the Studnicka experiment at center lasted 2 games

It sounds like they need to diversify their management team.

Why would you be sorry? I'm not sorry, they have sucked all year. They traded for someone I never liked and it's cost them. If they want to be dumb, I will not be empathetic

Petey needs some help. A lot of help actually.

I eliminated some of your laughing faces, that was overkill son. Don’t be such a drama queen. That being said, in the Canucks management’s defence, there hasn’t been any significant trades thus far in the entire league as cap money seemingly prevents any major deals league wide. The wait and see approach could be one of several things, firstly to show ownership the product they have is actually pretty bad, secondly, it could be to give BB some time to sort things out, thirdly, it could be so players salaries are easier to move with less owning nearer to the TDL.

I personally think you’re going to see moves in Vancouver, but not until February. I may not be a huge Jim Rutherford fan, although I was pretty happy to see Jim Benning gone, he could’ve been replaced by Kermit the frog for all I cared, anyways, you can’t convince me that Rutherford has suddenly forgot how to manage a hockey team. I gotta believe things will get done in a matter of time. #patience

It needed everyone of those laughing faces.

What is left to see honestly? Literally have seen everything possible, new coaches, new players, the good and bad of every player.

They are 8 good moves from contending. They going to make them all in 1 day?

🗣️"I think #Canucks fans want to see JT Miller stapled to the bench for an entire period. Make a statement."

Lefty "you just have to wait and see how his next shift goes and the one after that and the next one before you bench him, we don't know what is really going to happen till it happens with Miller"

I was just joking, I have a dry sense of humour. Personally, I’ve kinda lost interest in the organization, year after year for most of their existence they fail. But like watching a car crash I can’t help but looking to see what’s going on.

As you and everyone else in here knows, they’re not gonna fix a broken team like the Canucks in one season, this is going to be a process despite Lordy’s mantra of one full season under Boudreau.

Question becomes how does no one they bring in see what's going on with the team and make changes? Even slow changes. How has the last like 4 Gm's look at this club and not said, we need to draft more defenders.

Probably because they’re just good enough, since they were great from 2009-2012, to give the owner hope they can replicate that. The issue is 100% Francesco Aquilini, he bought 100% of the team in their heyday beginning and he thinks that’s the norm, he has no idea what an organization has to go thru to get to a place to where you can be what they were in 2011.

That’s my opinion…

I watched 2 periods of that game. "Great win" must be one of the most sarcastic things he has ever said. Watching 2 periods of that game makes me appreciate the Canucks current poop 100 times.

You would think after a decade of not getting anywhere near there again except for one blip that someone would say to him that the current path they are on can't be continued.

Boudreau is a lame duck who won't be back to the dismay of the players, whether or not they somehow manage to get one of the coveted wild card spots.
