Funny how the team has exciting pond hockey games against the lesser teams in the NHL but when they meet an actual solid team they don’t do so well. It’s almost like they, management, should realize this and rebuild? No?
- LeftCoaster

What are you talking about, they already rebuilt. This is it. This is what we get.

I love how JR & PA are off the grid, counting the days to the Dec 18th trade freeze.

Loved Miller's primary assist on the Wild's 2nd goal. That was pure, unadulterated alpha leadership.
- Marwood

That was an incredible play

Denver Broncos vs KC Chiefs, should be another “L” for Wilson and company. #LetsRide

“There’s a lot to unravel here”…..I believe those were Rutherford’s own words. Proceeds to make the team worse.

Hopefully the Seahawks get a franchise player and it becomes one of the greatest trades in NFL history.

Miller well?

- Marwood

Miller hasn't played much different this year than last or the previous ones.

Scoreboard watchers. At the end of the game whatever the scoreboard says is how the game went.

100% they will pick 10-15. If they keep the pick.
- VanHockeyGuy

Unfortunately 1 pick isn't going to fix this team, although it would be a start.
Team badly needs to acquire picks and get this rebuild on the way.
Any player that can return at minimum a 1st round pick, needs to be moved out, whether that pick is this draft or next, just start the process.

It's been 8 years since VAN acquired a first round pick via trade (Kesler).

I don't see any significant draft picks coming VAN's way anytime soon.

Personally I don’t think the Canucks “played well”, they were BADLY outplayed in the first period, it wasn’t even close.

The second period was better but the three consecutive penalties on the Wild swung things in Vancouver’s favor with chances and shots, but 5v5 it wasn’t much better.

The third period was more balanced but they still struggled to create anything in high danger scoring areas.

Dreadful first, came out hot in the second then wilted, not much in the third. It wasn’t their worst game but not sure they played well.

Even Bo knows!

@imacSportsnet
“Sure, J.T. Miller had awful turnover on SH goal and Canucks lost 3-0. But bigger problem is they don’t win unless they score 4+ goals which captain Bo Horvat notes is “not sustainable.” Canucks have no Plan B. That’s the problem.”

True, yet management is complacent with the team. That's the most perplexing thing.

The first period they were not good no.

The second period, I thought they had some really good looks that Gustafson made some fantastic saves. The wild players also made some fantastic goal saving blocks.

Third period a lot of the same.

The Canucks did not nearly play as bad as the chief of "the sky is falling" makes it out to be most nights.
