The Canucks like making those dangerous cross-ice passes, just sometimes they get away with it. Similar passes like that have been made at least 3 other times in this game, by other players, just never got intercepted

Despite what the media says, the market is cool on Canucks players, they're over paid and the asking price is too high. Why agents are involved.

The market is cool period. As in in season trades are most difficult aka the cap is a hurdle for most teams. Plenty of teams want to make moves big & to a lesser degree.
