Side note - just ordered my Leafs Retro Reverse with Borje patch - they are selling fast! I got a size 52 which is a large essentially as I have 2 other sized 52 jerseys that fit perfectly. If you were going to buy one today is the day, free Borje patch on the jersey and the profits go to ALS today only.

I emailed Real Sports about customization and was told once the jersey arrives I can contact them about it as it's done by a 3rd party and not available on the website. It takes 2 weeks and is $80 for heat sealed and $160 for stitched name/numbers. I may just look locally as that seems a bit pricey to me.

I want to say Gord Miller is a media member hoping for new rules to the cap because it actually penalizes teams that draft and develop well. Look at Chicago. They had to dump good players because of the cap.

I would go with a franchise tag.

I think Miller suggested different terms for drafted guys, like 7 or 8 years for them and 5 for free agents. Similar to what we have now.

One free draftee contract, however that still plays very much into the have vs have nots. Rangers, Leafs, Habs all can afford 15 million and it not count against the cap. Arizona buys LTIR guys to reach the floor so they wouldn't benefit from this.
