Kind of wonder if teams were starting to get a bit of a read with AM34/MM. Nylander brings a different look to defend against with Auston and JT gets to relive his Marner days.

You don’t read MM. MM reads you. I actually think the switch was done for defensive purposes. JT line wasn’t as strong defensively

Exactly. Key on Marner you know he is setting up the big gun in Matthews. Teams were able to stifle Matthews. Nylander can pass but he can also snipe now its just dangerous and you cant double team both of them. JT is just as good at passing so now he and marner can fish and either could burn you. That line just needs a winger cause kerfoot and robertson arent it.

Not the biggest fan. Id prefer ZAR Kampf and Him as a shutdown 3rd line. Rather have a real threat with those two.
