And you know what irks my pile?....... is that PoMo had to "quit" to force the mgmt to do something. Apparently PoMo tried to quit the summer ahead of his last year and Chevy convinced him to stay. So, when someone comes to quit, and they know their time is over, and should have been over 1 to 2 years prior, and mgmt says, Oh pls stay, I will make a few trades yada, yada, then you know mgmt is clueless.
I like PoMo but his respect for older players and his Don Cherry style of "not embarrassing the competition in a game like last nite" has no place in todays NHL. Maybe it did in the 80's or 90's, but not in the fast paced NHL of today.
You have to have these players playing the same whether they are up 5 goals or down five goals. Pedal to metal for 60. I like PoMo, but he is a dinosaur. - Old Flopper
I am absolutely loving Florida’s fan base right now. Seeing someone on the opposite side of the continent screaming about all the same things I had been since Vegas makes me feel warm and fuzzy |

Not defending Pomo but Florida isn’t bad, they have ridiculously low save % and shooting %. All other metrics are good. When their save and shooting %’s return to the norm you will see a lot more wins |

Not to mention that Ekblad hasn't played half the games due to injury, Barkov missed 4-5 as well as of late.

Patrik Laine coming to town. One thing I can definitely say is that he has been good at being on the Jimmy Carson career trajectory. Cannot believe that at one time he was hyped as being a “generational goal scorer”. |

The scoring talent is still there, I think......it's the rest of his game and his maturity level that come into question.
Roslovic has sure gone downhill quickly !

And not sure why the Jets chose not to dress Isaac Jonsson-F on Friday - unless he was injured.
IJF is the most active player on team - and gives the team energy, which they sorely missed on Friday night. Something happens every time IJF is on the ice, and he is one of the most entertaining players.
By taking him out of the line-up after a successful win in the previous game, the Jets deserved to lose. You don't mess with success! He'd better be in the line-up today! Or else! And Helle might help as well! |

There is no place for Heinola on the team.....trade him while you still can. - bennythehat
Very interesting to note there were reportedly scouts from 17 NHL teams at the Jets game on Friday - and 20 scouts at the Moose game yesterday.
Wonder who they are scouting, if Jets - Heinola, Schmidt, Demelo, Pionk, Barron, Gagner, maybe Lucius - plus who else?
Of interest to me, scouts from the Canucks, Sens, Ducks and Coyotes were among the attendees. |

Haven't been impressed with Gagner lately. |

Agreed. I said this about 6 games ago. Turns over the puck and seems to get muscled off the puck with ease imop. |

Agreed, and conversely is there anyone that's not impressed with Mikey E ?
That guy takes Harkins work ethic to a whole new level. The rest of the team can't help but feed energy off these two. Gagne has a better scoring touch but doesn't light a candle to these two guys when it comes to pure hard work and determination.

Essimont is a digging irritator as well, something the Jets need more of. You can see that Bones likes his game. |

Toninato was placed on waivers. No surprise there. Been calling for that one since game three. |

Should have waived Gange. And Rittich. |
