Idk….
Doesn’t make a ton of sense to bring up a kid who probably isn’t ready, to fill the spot of a guy on pace for 40 goals

- jdfitz77

Surely you don't think he'll score 40 goals right

Or pilut. Or lybush. But fitz has to be waived and idk if adams is willing to do that.

They need to start surviving 3rd pair minutes, and this would be an upgrade for that. So idk. I'd make the move.

Granato in Adams ear making sure he doesn't get rid of his favourite player.

Probably not
But is 30 outta the question??

I don’t love Olofsson, obviously he’s flawed
But i appreciate guys who put the puck in the net, even if it’s mostly on the power play

Contrary to what some believe,
PP goals do actually count

Would Jordan Greenway fit that mold

Adds some size toughness
Grew up 4 hours away

- Anderdog

YES. This would help the team and get the After The Whistle guys to shut the F up about sandpaper.

How do we know there not ready, Rousek isn't your normal prospect, injuries hurt him, he isn't a 18-19yr old kid. Kulich played 2yrs in a professional men's league already.

Ok, for arguments sake, let’s just say they are “ready”
I don’t think any of them are gonna come here & score at the pace Olofsson is
I can say that with reasonable certainty, bc none of them are scoring at that pace in the AHL

And how do we know any of them are ready?
It would make more sense to me to see them first in stints as call ups to see how they perform,
BEFORE shipping guys out & needing to fill the roster spot

None of these guys have dominated the AHL like Quinn did last year, and even he looked like he wasn’t ready until recently

What reasonable pace, he scores 2 or 3 and then disappears for 10gms, scores 2 or 3 and disappears for 10gms. I am willing to see if those kids can make us a overall better team. Cause Olofsson doesn't make us better, and Mitts can be put in there to they are Blackholes.

Without a doubt for me it would be Knight, but, I’ve only seen Cozens play a handful of games, so I have no real opinion on him.

Knight looks like he will be a solid NHL goaltender for the Panthers future.
While Bob currently seems like he may be lost in his own head again, Knight has been the better Panthers goalie so far this season. He may already be the #1 in the team’s eyes.

Sounds right. Looks like a great draft pick. Cozens has a lot of Patrice Bergeron - very young and green Patrice Bergeron - about him. I'd like him to continue to improve his shot. If he's scoring 60 points a year, he's an extremely valuable forward.

Scoring at a 40goal pace has quite a bit of value imo, even if it’s inconsistent
Like i said, Olofsson is flawed
But these kids aren’t gonna come up & be well rounded NHLers- they’ll have flaws too

Adams claimed Jost off waivers rather than bringing one of them up
So that tells me Adams doesn’t think they’re ready- even if you do

Rousek's going to turn 24 around the end of the season. Would like to see him get some games.

You know my opinion on the others. They've started much stronger than you'd expect, so it's very encouraging.

Reading up on him

Turnovers are a problem

Sorry but I'd take Tyler for free right now
He's ok on bottom pairing

We aren’t going to the playoffs the way this team is constructed. Olofsson and Mitts have a lot to do with that. We are supposed to be figuring out who is gonna be here and who isn't. I don't need them tearing up the AHL like Quinn did, but they are playing very well down there, I just need them to make that line better.

Myers contract for next season only being $1.4M might sway them a bit, compared to the $3.8M in actual money he is making this season.

I think you're bang on for so many reasons. D zone play, intangibles and even production is similar at this point to where 37 was in his 3rd season. We can only hope it turns out that way and I think that it will.

Bill Armstrong asked for Savoie in talks with Adams for Chychrun , that will not happen. That's not even a starting point.
