Interesting one. I'd say Cozens. Looks like he becoming a strong 2-way 2C. Those are rare.
- Lunaion

We'd be in rough shape without him. Mitts and Krebs would be centering lines 2 and 3. And, we're in rough shape with him because too many goals go in when Andy doesn't play.

Yes it is Dylan Cozens!! Adams has had every chance to bring in a better goalie, and had plethora of chances to do it. He has chosen not to, the development or destruction of this team is his to bare as some have stated with players leaving because of goaltending. We can complain about goaltending all we want, this is Adams fruit to bare.
- Buff36

100 agree it's on Adams.

Just an interesting player value comparison. We darn sure need both.

Rats, who would you rather have on the Panthers?

That's not really a fair comparison, the Panthers team is stacked with talent.

They have to eventually start winning these “they played hard” games.

Moral victories no more.

We can score goals, pretty much when there on skate with any team. I think we all can see the shortcomings but Don't seem to want to address them at this point. I can see waiting on a forward acquisition as we have a ton to look at. But Defensively we have nothing coming. Most GM'S use a strength in the organization to help balance a weakness and Adams doesn't seem to want to yet. You can only have so many prospects, they'll never evaluate them all, especially with having such a young core already.

Good post,

I'm not sure if playing assplund more is gonna make a difference. Pretty sure his development curve has ended.
Turns 25 tomorrow.

I'd swap him and mitts. The 24 year old who's development curve is still hopeful.

Absolutely, size, buffalove and good vibes....

I think Minnesota was pretty high on him a few years ago?

Fair point about 24 vs 25, but 24 might not be as hopeful as you'd like.

" Upl biggest problem is he can't track the puck '

Someone look up how many pp goals have been scored with upl in net

- Anderdog

The tying goal last night, Girgensons does another slide by on his man and Casey Fitzgerald screens the fvck out of UPL, he's gotten very little help in front of him.

I'd rather not have to be the team that needs to get guys on waivers to be better.

I mean, Jost is kinda neat. Reilly woulda been nice. Myers has been good in Tampa and bad in Nashville, so.. I mean I don't know. Jost is pretty good here and bad in Minny.

Or pilut. Or lybush. But fitz has to be waived and idk if adams is willing to do that.

They need to start surviving 3rd pair minutes, and this would be an upgrade for that. So idk. I'd make the move.

Without a doubt for me it would be Knight, but, I’ve only seen Cozens play a handful of games, so I have no real opinion on him.

Knight looks like he will be a solid NHL goaltender for the Panthers future.
While Bob currently seems like he may be lost in his own head again, Knight has been the better Panthers goalie so far this season. He may already be the #1 in the team’s eyes.

Third pair/fourth line waiver claims are savvy team moves i'd say. Its only a problem if you're claiming players to play bigger roles lol

Idk….
Doesn’t make a ton of sense to bring up a kid who probably isn’t ready, to fill the spot of a guy on pace for 40 goals

I don't really disagree with the concept, I simply wish we didn't need to do it. I'm all for it if it makes us better.
