Odell Beckham Jr. was removed from a flight at Miami International Airport on Sunday after police say the free agent wide receiver was "in and out of consciousness" and refused to leave the airplane when asked.

According to a statement from the Miami-Dade Police Department obtained by multiple outlets, officers were called to the airport for a medical emergency after the flight crew expressed concern that Beckham was seriously ill.

"The flight crew was concerned for a passenger
- SABRES 89[Mr. Odell Beckham], as they tried to wake him to fasten his seat belt, he appeared to be coming in and out of consciousness, prior to their departure," the police statement said. "Fearing that Mr. Beckham was seriously ill, and that his condition would worsen through the expected 5 hour flight, the attendants called for police and fire rescue. Upon the officers arrival, the flight crew asked Mr. Beckham several times to exit the aircraft, which he refused."

At 6x the cost...not that cost is an issue now, but will begin to be in 3 years.

Is his wife new here? He has played for 6 different NHL teams and 3 different AHL teams in his career, and he signed a two way contract, if I'm not mistaken. She sounds like a spoiled, entitled brat.

Chychrun I heard about a few months ago but it wasn't a "full go" so to speak because he was still hurt and ways from playing. I didn't hear about Horvat as of yet and the Vatrano one is crap, they could have signed him in the off season of they wanted him. No chance on Nylander as EK pointed out in a previous blog, they have no interest in him. I know they are looking for another center but I didn't hear names.
