I hear this after every "big" game
Vegas, RJ night, start of the season, now the Tampa game - DirtyDan
I'm not going to rank it for atmosphere all time, but it felt great in there when Skinner put the dagger in Tampa. People were having a time. Then UPL said hold my beer. I know I didn't get to sleep till about 2am that night I was so pissed off.
People were mad leaving that arena. |

This is a very accurate post
That loss sucked, it pissed everyone off.
Was a chance to beat Tampa, our division rivals.
The building was really into the game. Similar to the opener, vegas, and the Thanksgiving games.
Good vibe until the end |

Ok so 3 of the 4 lines were excellent vs tampa.
1 line was bad.
Coach switches the bad player out and inserts someone different.
Cant bench the 9m guy , with 11 goals.
You understand this.
Maybe could have benched mitts, but his effort blows asplunds effort away..
Good move by donnie, sit the light weight non goal scoring threat - Boss34
It's not 1 game. At least he's slashing their minutes. He sees the problem, but has no solution.

Would you do it?
Is Seamus Kotyk any good?
Is Arturs Irbe available? - IonSabres
Won't pretend to have watched him at all, but gut reaction is no. Contract just removes any chance.

Bills are redoing Tre's contract, opening up about 2.5 to 3m in cap space. Interesting move at this time.
And could be turning the rest of Josh's Option Bonus into a signing bonus. Could be another 2.5m in space. |

I like krebs he just has to shoot more. Maybe he’s not very good at it but a bad shot on net is better than a giveaway. - joshs
His shots are giveaways.. but he can play D so
Asplund-Krebs-Olof

I lose more sleep over a regular season Sabre loss than the average Bills fan did over 13 seconds. |

Interesting CBS wouldn't give up the rights to the 1:00pm game between the Bills vs Jets. That's why the Miami vs Chargers game was flexed to Sunday Night that weekend, and not the Bills Jets game. - Buff36
Bills are a draw right now, and the Jets are from major market New York City. This will probably be their game every market not showing the local home team’s game.
With phins not playing at 1 o’clock, the Jets Bills will definitely be their game for the Florida market. |

The NFL is a distant 4th sport for me. If my wife wasn't a Bills Mafia weirdo I might not watch 10 NFL games a year. Now, the Wolverines look like they have some interesting games to watch. |

Does hitting matter? The truth is a soft team can hold their own during regular season play relying on speed and in your face hockey. Come playoff time the teams that grind it out with not just in your face hockey but taking the body at every opportunity have the upper hand. When a team gets outhit 40 to 20 in one game it isn't as bad as being outhit game after game in the playoffs maybe 7 games in a row. It takes it toll and slows the pace down therefore becoming an equalizer.
A team trying to go 82 games playing the constant hitting game would never last and burn out
So does hitting matter? Certainly does but all good teams can play more than one style and know when to use them effectively. - Freddie krug
Wow!!
A comment on hits that actually makes some sense!!
That being said, the Sabres are a soft a$$ team!! |

Wouldnt the gm have the solution?
Sitting asplund is a good start.
I imagine Donnie can't trade him or waive him, that happens with upper management . |

Whats yer 3 other than this god forsaken sport - DirtyDan
1. Buffalo Sabres and NHL
2. NY Yankees and MLB
3. Michigan Wolverine NCAA football
4. NFL. Always players first in the NFL for me. Josh Allen is my current favorite player, thus making the Bills my "team" for now. Before Allen became great Russell Wilson was my guy. Before him John Elway. I, of course, have a soft spot for Tom Brady because he was great at Michigan.
I have to say all the other sports have fallen off for me other than the NHL. I think, in general, the NHL is as enjoyable to watch the last two seasons as I've seen since I was a kid. (Mid 80s to early 90s) |

to quote the great PHam, "Asplund is the least of their worries on that line, but he pays the price."
Need some Moneyball moves, trade Donnie's favorite toys so he can't continue to hurt the team by playing them.
Asplund, Krebs, Vinny 3rd line. Big upgrade. |

My wife laughed at me when I asked if she wanted to go. It's one of those pick your seat nights. I may sit right behind the Avs. |
