Lol, I know you're a big VO fan, Boss. I think it's an interesting discussion though, in all honesty. VO is largely invisible for 59 minutes a game and then he does something sweet in that one minute.

How is that accurately valued? What does it cost?

I think he's a super interesting player for that reason. It reminds me of late-stage Peter Forsberg when his foot turned to soup and he could only play on the power play but it was still pretty good when he was out there

Not asap, at the first decent opportunity. Ideally, before next season.

His whole game is predicated on being relevant for only seconds at a time. You can watch a whole game wondering where Olofsson has been and then bam, it's a goal.

I legitimately don't know how to value that.

I dont think anyone ever said "what a shift by Olofsson" but he'll probably end up with 30+ goals. I just don't know what you do with a PP/empty net specialist like him.

If he didn't have 3 or 4 EN goals his numbers GF/GA would be even worse. He is horribly inconsistent and disappears for weeks

Olofsson has 3 power play goals in 22 games, and he's on pace for 11 power play goals.

That doesn't sound super interesting.

He had a fantastic view of the playoffs from his spot on the bench. I am sure they didn't sign him thinking that Swayman would be the guy in the playoffs.
