Horvat has 17 goals and 24 points in 22 games so far this season. Maybe Savoie will be a stud, bit he's in the WHL now and the AHL next season. Horvat is a stud now, im his prime, at exactly the age and position we need.

And he’s a UFA
Absolutely no reason to give up a guy we just picked in the top10 for him
No way

When Cozens was drafted he was considered an elite prospect

Do you people even watch the draft or pay attention to prospects?

- sabresfan69

He was considered a mature 2 way Center with with High End 2C possibilities that could develop into a 1C. He was considered a elite prospect, but was never considered a superstar.

Agree, been saying they need to go away from the traditional 4th line. Bring up Rousek and
Yost Krebs Rousek you have some offense, some grit on both wings, Rousek has a great shot, and Yost and Rousek play a solid 200ft game. Plus they can all fly.

I dislike Tampa. Maybe we’ll get a legit PP this period. I’ve had enough of kucherov over the years. This game is here for the taking, now take it!

Yes it does matter because its what you are arguing with me about. Clearly you are out of your league here. Why argue then?

You take it easy

- sabresfan69

You responded to my message. Not arguing. I said only about 5% of all NHL players are visible each game.

You then called Cozens a 3rd liner which clearly makes you look like your out of your own league.

Tonight:

Tage's line: 71% xGF%
Cozens: 76%
Mitts: 6%
Jost: 53%

Pretty much the norm lately. Getting 4th line minutes now.

I never said he was considered a superstar, I said when he was drafted he was drafted with the potential to be a superstar...

Should I post links or you guys just want to keep going?

Cozens may never challenge for a scoring title, but he will still be able to score enough to be a first line centre. Add in his strong defensive game, and the potential to grow into a Selke calibre centre and he could be a franchise-changing force up the middle. While he has also played the wing in junior (mainly his rookie year), his skating, vision and hockey IQ all suggest his future is at centre. In terms of playing style, he is reminiscent of Ryan Kesler, though this is not a skill-level comparison.

So are 95% of all hockey players. Only the superstars are visible everygame.
- ZiggyBuff

Wasn't that why Cozens was drafted 7th overall? To be a superstar? I mean you ain't looking for grinders when you leave Zegras on the board.

We have a “kids line” playing like a legitimate second line in the NHL and some choose to question the 21 year old pivot ?

We deserve another 8 game losing streak.

Simply put, he’s one of the top offensive players available in the 2019 NHL Draft. He might not be as versatile or rounded out as Krebs or Dach, but he’s a strong power forward – he’s a muscle car, not an SUV – and he could be exactly what NHL clubs are looking for early in the first round.
