Vinny and Krebs are sitting tonight. Wonder where they go from here. Okposo, Girgs, Mitts, and VO seem immune from the sitting. Jost and Asplund deserve to stay in.

That's the point, they can't ... they virtually waste 14:00 a night running around creating scoring chances and strong puck possession metrics on a line with 20 goals a season. There is utility there in wasting opponents time...would be nice to capitalize though.

Zegras was said to be the best offensive player at the draft. They thought hey lets take a grinder instead? Go back and watch the draft. See the whole picture man.

Agree, been saying they need to go away from the traditional 4th line. Bring up Rousek and
Yost Krebs Rousek you have some offense, some grit on both wings, Rousek has a great shot, and Yost and Rousek play a solid 200ft game. Plus they can all fly.

As much as i wanted us to draft Chychrun,
trading for him doesn’t make much sense to me

We can’t pay him AND Power & Dahlin,
so are we just gonna turn around & flip Chychrun in a year or so?

Keeping him long term would mean allocation of too much $$$ to the defense imo
It would screw us the same way that it’s screwed the Leafs spending all that Cap Space on forwards
Gotta be more balanced

And like we’ve said for years with Dahlin:
if Power is what we think he is, he won’t need an All-Star level partner, just someone who is solid
