Fine defense play by 71 on that one. Not only gets bumped off the puck but then doesn't back check whatsoever. |

Nice, that line is all over Tampa!! Quinn |

They have to decide whether Mittelstadt is going to be Krebs or if Krebs is going to be Krebs. And can Cozens really be expected to be much more offensively than either.
I see a lot of 3C potential among all 3 and I'm still not seeing the real 2C stuff - Hank Balling
Well, there's 3 more coming soon. Decisions....

They need to fix that 3rd line, it is utterly useless at this point. |

The Sabres have eight shot attempts with Peterka-Cozens-Quinn on the ice tonight. They've allowed only one with that trio out there at 5-on-5.

Cozens 15 points in 21 games and is invisible have the time.
Glass half full or half empty? |

I'd think it some combination of Krebs, Rosen, Savoie, Ostlund, and Kulich in 2 years. That's makes next year just a transition to get there. I'd be fine with Savoie, Krebs, and Asplund for a year.

With Cozen, Quinn, JJ looking good and Rosen, Savoie, Kulich, Ostlund on the way, do you really see them looking for top 6 help? How does it all fit? - Lunaion
Is this Kevyn Adams' stealth account?
Well Kevyn, look at players not as people when developing your roster, rather as assets. Some assets are redundant and will need to be traded out for others assets of a unique quality. Seek out players with unique qualities to your rostered players. There doesn't appear to be enough of a scoring power forward variety...those guys are abso.ute gold in playoff hockey. Also, who's your disrupter in the bottom 6? Who will have opponents running around, taking themselves out of position to "get even"? You can exploit that in a tight, emotional game frequently seen in the playoffs.
Ya got your core ID'd..who are your influencers that will help drive other players to play out of their comfort zone at a higher level? That is what you should ID next...the rest are plug and play good players but can be replaced on ELC's
I'm available Kevyn, I know Beaner is probably busy with OJB, when he's conscious of course.

He is turible outside of the right faceoff dot area...as much as Girgensons absolutely blows on scoring chances of any variety. Put them together, you have 75% of a 3rd liner. Dump them both. |
