if dufuss is smart, he will trade greedy pencil neck to the yotes for chichirun, bustown grouch and big Richard female doge+👍
the yotes get more salary to reach the floor and our loafs get some ass to bang bodies and stand in front of the net during the stanley Cup playoffs👍🏿
then he will have plenty of money left at the deadline to trade little nickey+ for another legit defensive dman for the playoffs👍
that’s a long way of saying “not likely”🤦🏿♂️ - Skalapy

I don't think you understood the "nhl" part as it wasn't focused on the leafs. But hey, you do you kid
- Aaron_85
our laffs are just part of the nhl👍
i focused on our loafs because this is the passion that unites us all👍🏿
that’s an interesting question looking at it from another perspective👍
call me a homer but I’ve only ever looked at trade proposals from a laffer point of view 🤔🤦🏿♂️
i think that if i was holland, i would trade kane, tyson barely and draisaitl to the yotes for louse, big Richard female dogie, chichirun+then plan a parade👍 |

you know what? that’s great analogy👍
if i was a band, on the radio, for which would you ignore to listen?
i would have to say marty robbins
plus i think that the crapitals should send the great 8 somewhere along the eastern seaboard to a place with a bunch of russians where he won’t have to carry the team and can focus on breaking gretz’ records |

Murray and Samsonov have both had good starts to the year. (Well Murray when he came back from his injury). We just need them to continue performing to a similar level as that. Or at least one of them.

Appears that way. Don't recall us having excellent tending for a while.
Freddy had stretches but so-so in the play-offs mostly before that .
Then way back to Joseph and the Eagle.

Leafs defensive numbers are much better, having only allowed 59 goals in 23 games. What seems to be down are the offensive numbers. Would like to see a larger goal differential. Matthews, secondary scoring and scoring by d-men all down. Leafs need to shoot the puck more as they did against the Pens.

I read the Canucks Army article, looks like she was fired and is claiming it's all about her "insert issues/disabilities/gender" and not her performance. Team is claiming otherwise. |

I don't know how much any of us really knows about this. I was reading about it on the Athletic and a few other sites. I mean my natural inclination is to think that Rachel was wronged, but - and perhaps it's the fact that I've been a corporate drone for 25+ years - I'm having trouble seeing it from the outline I've read.
Rachel Doerrie has a form of PTSD likely associated with having a leaky heart valve which requires her to wear a heart monitor at all times. It brings with it obviously physical, mental and emotional traumas in the form of both panic and anxiety attacks and depression. The Canucks hired her, according to her, with full awareness of these issues (and she has been a vocal advocate for them in the past, so it would be nearly impossible for the Canucks to have not known about it in advance, and it's bordering on ridiculous to assume she wouldn't have made it clear prior to relocating to Vancouver that this was a severe and pre-existing condition she deals with).
But what I get from the gist of the outline really seems like she butted heads with the AGM, Emilie Castonguay - and it reads like it was over her (Rachel's) relationship with the media. It _sounds_ like Doerrie was too cozy with the media and Castonguay didn't like it. She called her into her office and told her that she was not important enough for the media to care about her, nor were any members of the media her friend. Castonguay would also question her mental toughness in handling the job she was given.
At the risk of being a jerk - both of those things regarding the media are true, and questioning her mental toughness is also possibly fair given the stresses the job could pose for Doerrie.
At the end of the day, if my VP says to me, "Don't talk to the media. They are using you to try and get information on people more important that you're connected to.", it's my job to not talk to the media.
Doerrie does contend that other staff members had spoken to the media providing more information than she had - but those staff members were members of the coaching staff (specifically Assistant coach Mike Yeo).
Again, maybe I'm just old or old fashioned, but there is a pecking order in any organization, and sometimes you're just not high enough in that pecking order to be granted leeway. That's my outside take with limited information available.

None of us know what’s going on but I’ve seen various media types say if this kind of media contact is now a firing offence, half the front offices in the NHL better get their resumes in order. There may be issues but that sounds a little off.

It’s Keefe but it’s an easy job considering how good a job Dubas has done in putting a team together. No, wait |
