Wrong, I’m looking at it right now. Pettersson and Hughes were behind the net with two Vegas players and the puck when Schenn floats in instead of going to the front of the net to take the open man.

Yes Hughes lost a 50/50 puck battle but it shouldn’t matter if Schenn was coving the front. The Canucks is are just too soft in front of their net.

It tracks that Petey's high hockey IQ would help him on the PK. I think he's had more shorthanded breakaways than the entire team did last year, feels like the guy just sees plays developing a couple seconds before everyone else.

Horvat playing the way he has is definitely freaky, but I don't think it's sustainable long term. Classic contract year stuff.
