They say the standings at thanksgiving are a good indication of the standings come April.
Looks fairly legitimate but I think Detroit was still fall out and florida will make it. Nyr currently out of a playoff spot as well but would assume they would make it too. |

no shafting has been done to them.
The wild are a big physical team so it made sense to insert Simmonds into the line up.
one of those two will be in the line up tomorrow night. - dmnted
Simmonds recording 0 hits and was invisible along with the rest of his line. Reaves had a bunch of hits in his limited ice-time. Simmonds was basically a non-factor. |

I thought simmonds had a few good plays yesterday. He was part of the factor of why nylander scored but didn’t get a point for it. |

Meh, I just don't want to see Simmonds playing over Robertson when this team needs cheap top-6 scoring mid to long-term. |

Ya I would like Robertson to get some consistent games and ice time to see what he can do. |

I don’t think Simmonds is going to play on the Marlies so they need to get him a game or two until he gets claimed or retires. Right now I also think they prefer Malgin over Robertson but realize that Nickie needs games for his development |

Honestly send him down. If he fails to report suspend him. He can go down and play and help the kids, or just retire. He has gone through waivers twice. Nobody interested. The fact is his days as a deterring factor are long over and the skill isnt there.
As for Robertson like to see him get a somid look but if he cant get it done then tome to make a move. We need to get someone on that second line wing with JT and Marner. |

Dubas is never going to force him to play for the Marlies. |

They’re just not going to do that to him. Maybe at some point he decides to play there or he gets picked or he retires. Until then he will get into a game every once in a while. It’s not like he was a huge drawback yesterday. This will work itself out but they’ll treat him with respect.
On a related note, it’s Ritch Clune day for the Marlies |
