If the extent of the opinion is ha ha Dubas trades for another guy from the Soo or we just gave up another Marchment because Curtis is tall, maybe not. If people are having serious conversations, then yes I have lots of those.

The Avs guy actually provided information about Timmins. There didn’t seem to be a lot of interest

I think Douglas will be a player who we may look at as we've looked Marchment and said damn, maybe shouldn't have traded that guy. I also don't think Timmins has hit his draft potential and comes with a lot of injury baggage.

It's a minor swap so oh well, but also, I fail to see how me or anyone else having that opinion automatically makes them subject to your condescending BS. But then again I've been under the assumption that opinions don't require your approval prior to being shared, perhaps I've just missed the memo.

Sure we can have a discussion about whether Douglas turns into anything. I think he’s got a long way to go from the limited bits that I saw in the preseason. He doesn’t seem like much of a price for a guy to help out in the short term who might have some upside if he stays healthy but whose main contribution is in the short term.

On the memo issue, I agree that no one needs anyone else’s prior approval to share their opinions just like no one need anyone’s approval to respond to them in stupid/funny ways if they see fit (subject to the strict adherence of the CofC of course). Sadly, some will see those attempts at humour as condescending BS. But c’est le guerre

Book on Timmins is that he is more of a "puck mover" and not physical. This guy could not crack the lineup of the Arizona Coyotes. I'm ok with this as a stopgap move. But I'm not expecting much here.
