Obviously, a lucky bounce but still a good sign. Some puck luck can get a player going. Build some confidence.

Feels good to score regardless. Post was as if he maybe wasn’t watching tho, didn’t get the sarcasm but maybe I’m off

Some guys love fighting and know exactly why it’s part of the NHL…some are fine with it, understand it’s roll in the game. Then there are guys that don’t like it, won’t do it unless forced. Then the last group is guys that just won’t engage in it no matter what. It’s purpose in the game has become less and less prevalent. As far as hitting , I don’t think they’ll ever take hitting out of the game totally but I do think they will continue to add rules that will curb its use ….you know for safety purposes…

Not the point. I doubt the players have an issue with Mac or Nick D outside of how they’re being used, not that they’re being used at all.

Our PK gives up a lot through the middle, right to the other team’s player in the slot.

I don't think I've seen a team play more passively when they don't have the puck.

Strange game, and weird goals. May be the lowest measured in quality between Caps and flyers in decades.

Better than the hockey in the 2nd period. What a pathetic period by the Flyers. I can't stand the way this team plays by design. Sit back, no puck pressure. Let the opposition pass side to side and a shooting gallery on the net. Hope the puck eventually bounces to you so you can dump it in the offensive zone and maybe get a lucky bounce. They have two tonight. No neutral zone forecheck. Give up the blueline with ease and then sit back and hope. This team is going to turn on Tortorella real quick if this continues.

welp, as long as the Flyers goalie can have a Save % above .940, they can win. Does not seem sustainable.

No way. Frost buried that one. It almost made it to the back of the net.

Oh it’s not. As evidenced by the 7 game losing streak we’re on.
