#FreeBurroughs

Pearson, as much as he's struggled this year is usually willing to go if the other team lays a big hit on a teammate.

This core just needs more time together

And maybe some more 3rd liners and #4/5 dmen from other teams

That Podkolzin fight was pretty brutal.

Probably not, but as fans we can only hope that the organization comes to its senses.

We won't see significant changes until that building is consistently half empty.
I honestly can't believe people spend big sums of money to see this uninspiring mess live at the arena.

Believe it.

Not everyone cares as much about the long term goals of the team.
The casuals are just looking for some fun and entertainment.

i'll be there next month

Back to back wins plan the championship route.

Only 8 points out of wildcard.

I'm glad you have an obscene amount of money to just piss away.

I guess some people like to pay $20 for a beer.

Thanks Carol

Zero chance Horvat gets moved. They won't extend him till the spring either, so it's going to be unbearable hearing all the trade chatter.

If you have some food, a smoke and a couple drinks before you go it's fun

I think it is the opposite. I see the same people going game after game, rain or shine. They are diehard fans.

Twitter and sites like this have a lot of groaning about how things are run, but if you watch the game or attend it is a different animal. I mean just listen to the crowd every time someone scores. Like it or not the paying fans still can't get enough Canucks.

The in-arena experience is pretty solid, I have to say. I have friends who are Oilers fans and even they said they were impressed when they went to a Nucks game last season.

I could spend a fraction of that money and go see a live band while having a few drinks and be way more entertained. To each their own.

It's an unfortunate by-product of where I live. Mostly Oilers or Flames fans due to proximity, a smattering of Leafs and Habs fans, very few Canucks.

Totally fair, I like to do both. Every time I leave town I try to make it to a live event of some kind since we get so little here, nothing beats live sports or music.
