You were saying? Since none of you pay attention to anything but points.. That was Beau's 4th shot on net. Dobson also had 4, Lee had 3, Parise had 3, Mayfield had 3. No other forward had more than 1... no other D-man had a single shot.
Beau also had 3 hits and 3 take aways, and tons of forechecks in the corners of the O-zone.. but according to most Isles fans until that goal he was "Invisible" .
I really don't know wtf you guys are watching .. honestly. The shift that turned the 3rd period around again.. was when Beau was on the ice with Brock and Barzal. ..fyi. from that point on they were buzzing. - niteislander
We’re just bad fans and don’t grasp Beauvillier’s greatness due to our lack of understanding for the little things.

I mean he did have zero in the 10 games prior to last night

There’s probably no one on here, besides me, that doesn’t acknowledge that Beau hustles out there. I say besides me because I don’t believe he’s doing a whole helluva lot with that hustling. Doesn’t come out with the puck from the boards more often then not. His play in the neutral zone when transitioning is, to me, not that great. The bottom line is all aspects of his game are inconsistent whether he’s hustling or not is completely irrelevant imo. With that said we all know he’s a streaky player hopefully this is the beginning of one of those streaks.

I still like him as a player, but consistency is definitely his biggest issue. He has all the talent to be such a good player but he just can't seem to put it all together
To me wahlstrom smashing Sandin’s face in after kneeing Matthews was the turning point of the game not because Beauvillier was graced with a shift with Barzal and Nelson

I say this constantly. I don’t hate Beau. I’m just not sure if he’ll ever put it together? He had a real good stretch playing with Barzal a couple years back. One of the few players that could actually keep up with him. I wouldn’t be opposed to revisiting that.

I disagree. The momentum changed after the camera zoomed in on Beauvillier during a break in action
Lucky bastard and the cairns beating of Corson was a top 10 moment in isles history
This may be one of my favorite moments in isles history, I hated Tucker, Roberts and Corson and I remember going nuts when he beat Corson. It was my background screen in college - Upstate_isles
I have a painting of the moment that Cairns pointed to the crowd. Bought it from the Source mall a few years after that series. Awesome fight. For Cairns.

Oliver Wahlstrom and Rasmus Sandin, both Swedes, with a long friendly post-game chat in the hallway between teams' dressing rooms after their third-period fight.
Cal Clutterbuck, Anthony Beauvillier and Lane Lambert all credit Wahlstrom fight with pumping some life into #Isles

There was a picture of the two of them talking somewhere too. Wahlstrom probably apologized for feeding him
Putting my special tinfoil hat on for this one, but I have a weird feeling it's pretty bad if the team PR account is announcing that it's a "knee injury" and not just "lower body injury"

100%. While also reinforcing exactly what I said. So the great Beauvillier himself even acknowledged that the Wahlstrom fight was what got the team going. It wasn’t because he got a shift with Nelson and Barzal

Yeah I don’t think it’s a stretch to believe he’s out long term if they’re not making an effort to conceal it to an extent with a “lower body injury” label.

Rumblings of a grade 1 or 2 MCL injury for Rielly which would align with LTIR and a 4-6 week recovery.

It's a minimum of 10 games and 24 days no matter what for LTIR, but still...yeah I feel like announcing the specific nature of the injury is pretty rare unless it's a really long term one. Unless the Leafs always announce it and I didn't realize, but I don't think that's the case.
