You were saying? Since none of you pay attention to anything but points.. That was Beau's 4th shot on net. Dobson also had 4, Lee had 3, Parise had 3, Mayfield had 3. No other forward had more than 1... no other D-man had a single shot.

Beau also had 3 hits and 3 take aways, and tons of forechecks in the corners of the O-zone.. but according to most Isles fans until that goal he was "Invisible" .

I really don't know wtf you guys are watching .. honestly. The shift that turned the 3rd period around again.. was when Beau was on the ice with Brock and Barzal. ..fyi. from that point on they were buzzing.

Forgive me if I am dating myself. But Randy Wood use to buzz every shift he was out there. Use to take more shots then the guy sparing with Mike Tyson. Had more one on ones then a cheap hooker. Bottom line he did not put the puck in the net on a consistent basis. No goals no wins...a bee is always buzzin. it does not mean anything until he stings you.

When I saw Nelson limp off the ice I thought he had something along the same lines… Pucker up moment in last nights game.

Yep the two guys delivered that needed too last night. It was either that or one of them was probably getting benched

No he didn't. You guys just focus on points. He is the league MVP so far if you disregard just about everything, he has done so far this year up until last night

Hopefully that gets him going for five or so games before he completely vanishes for fifteen soon after.

I like Beau and he does hustle and forecheck but if there's an upgrade I'm taking it without a second thought. That said he's young and fast and tight with barzal so idt they move him.

That was a huge two points last night!! 4 winnable games coming up gotta walk away with no less than 6 points IMO
- Vukota

6 of the next 7 are winnable and weaker opponents and what sucks is that the rangers and isles are both gonna battle for a spot and only play 1 more game all year. (frank)ing stupid

I don't care if it's his son. Barzal is here for the next 8 years so I don't care if they trade Beau or not

Yeah the whole Beau is still here because he’s besties with Barzal theory is (frank)ing stupid. Kind of like they fired trotz to pay him an extra four million theory.

I mean 8 games vs division opponents was a lot too but I think 6 is doable and creates rivalries

If trading Beau somehow will improve the team he’s gone.

Yeah it’s just funny how the nhl pushed this whole inter divisional rivalry thing then did the complete, polar, opposite the next season.

I'm not saying they will keep him because of that I think it's more his speed and youth but he has sorta become baily 2.0 for a lot of fans

I'm not a fan of this year's, games that are huge the last 10 games of the season and there aren't many head to heads. I suppose with the top 3 in each division and 2 wildcards the games can be good still but idk I'd like to see interdivison games

Be curious to see what they do with Beau. He’s got value with his age and upside. I could see him being a part of a trade.

Don’t get me wrong I think there are a ton of things that factor into trading a player. I just don’t think that reason is pushing the needle if it means improving the team in Lameriello’s eyes. Maybe Beau figured it out while he’s here? I’m all for it. I’m just getting sick of waiting. That’s all.

I would love him to be an Islander for a long time, but he has to find more consistency and it has to find it soon IMO

Beau and Wally for Tank and a conditional 3rd round pick, the condition being that the Isles fail to sign Tank to an extension.
