Frost has played pretty well the last two games. Hopefully he continues to play with good linemates and gets ice time.

Yep, he needs to keep at it, look to improve little things, but most of all, believe the chances will go in because they will.

I don't believe Gauthier will be an NHL center, you can already see at BC is better suited at wing. The Flyers need a top end center and this is the draft to get him!

Actually the opposite. The coach’s said after being placed for one game on wing he has returned to Center and his play has taken off. Every part of his game is improving and he is becoming more comfortable. He needs to work on face off’s but the rest of it is rounding into form. He has the size for a big bodied Center….and the skill set.

Agree...We have all been advocating Frost with better players for a long time now...it's just sad that he keeps getting moved to lines with guys who cant play with pace.

It's been pretty well documented that Frost has challenges playing with pace because he was so effective in his younger years by slowing down for line mates and gaps to open up. There is absolutely nothing wrong with Tip and Farabee pulling him forward and its surprising anyone would ding Frost because his line mates are up on the puck. IMO, Frost needs sustained time with guys like this so he gets used to it. Even if his numbers aren't there, but his line mates are it doesn't mean he isn't constantly making strides.

Seems like a lot of people on this site root against the players of teams they supposedly support just so they can say "look, I was right about xyz being bad".

Edit: Seems like the light went on and it's starting to click and slow down for Tippet after he struggled at the end of the season and the first several games...same thing can happen with Frost

His underlying numbers are there when he plays with good linemates. Now he just needs to produce points more consistently. He's also a center, which means most of the time, he won't be F1.

He needs to produce points period. Don't want to hear about his underlying numbers any longer. The next 20 games, assuming he isn't yanked around, will be telling.

I do not think York is a bad player, actually I think he can be very good. However, as the Flyers do with all their young, they are not given time to make mistakes and grow into their true "player selves" (exhibit A = Frost). Now, if you want to talk about Caufield vs. York, you know the Flyers were never going to take a 5' 8" player with the 14h pick of any draft. Small players can't play Flyers hockey, which by the way, has not won anything is about 5 decades.

The Flyers really need York in the lineup now. Playing Seeler, Braun and Risto every game is not helping a team that's 2nd to last in offense.

Charlie had a good article about this on the athletic. Hoping the coach keeps him at center for the rest of the year.

Long game York is better off where he is at currently. Let them keep rolling those 3 out on D. That is the best chance to get a high draft pick. Also hope they sign AA.

It's helping them to get a better draft pick though.
