I enjoyed the game (from what i saw of it).
Looked like a pretty good game from the highlights too.

I thought Demko was shaky at first, and the LAK had some decent chances.
4th line was buzzing.
Big names scored the goals they should.

It’s winter in Canada, the sun sets at 3:30PM, there’s not much else to do. You can go down to the Log House pub and ogle all the fat Langford chicks…I suppose.

This Panthers vs Flames game has been a good one.

Don't know how I got such a different read but I watched the whole game. I found it fast very physical hockey. Lots of rushes and scoring chances. Also I thought it was one of those games where you could enjoy the show Petey can put on with his wizardry. Breaking up rushes by plucking pucks out of the air or sneaky poke checks... scoring and making plays. Skating very fast... he was fantastic again last night. Whether you want to win or lose, tank or ride the wins... it was exciting hockey.

I think shots were 7-0 Kings in the middle of the 2nd (for the period, not the game). Pettersson was very good. Garland has had every opportunity to be successful and just can’t.

I didn’t think the Canucks looked particularly good. Their first three goals were kind of scored against the run of play. They seemed to be hanging on. I didn’t watch the 3rd at all so can’t say how they finished. It looked like any of the classic Canuck game of the past 10 years.

It seems some people find shut down hockey exciting. You are definitely not going to see any exciting games out of the Canucks then.

I agree. If games were entertaining and the team had some direction I’d be all in, win or lose. I wasn’t entertained last night, it seemed like one team was playing downhill, but like I said, I wasn’t really paying a lot of attention so maybe I missed out. There have been a few games that they lost where I actually enjoyed the game and wasn’t freaking out over the mounting losses. I thought the Toronto game was good as an example, just that the better team won in the end.
