You know I think Mac has played pretty good…for Mac that is…maybe there is something there. But I’m not sure you have him on the ice in the last minute of the game protecting a one goal lead.

Ended better than I thought it would. I figured Hart would pull a hammy on the shootout winner. Kind of like a win if you look at it that way.

Hayes is such a waste of cap
- SuperSchennBros

He looked absolutely 💯 tranquilized on that lame SO attempt.

That was his best game of the season. Using him in OT is a disgrace and his failed clear attempt was hysterical at the end of regulation

Well they scored twice as many goals as I thought so there's that.

Gee, wonder what will happen in OT/shootout.

What a shock. Is Fletcher ever going to lose his job for his terrible trades, ridiculous draft picks, disgraceful free agent signings/misses, laughable contract extensions and horrible cap management? or is acquiring injury prone players that are always injured a blanket excuse forever? This team is playing harder and a lot more entertaining than in the last few years but the decade plus of mediocrity of this franchise continues on unabated.

if only we decided to draft caufield
- 2Real

Flyers luck is unlucky. They choose Nolan Patrick after getting lucky to be bumped up from 13th place to second in the draft (Heiskanen & Makar) was available. Turns out God bless him "Patrick" had a rare migraine condition.

His effort and his over all game has been a nice surprise but…but not when you are protecting a late lead…I was astonished he was actually put in that position.

Would any other coach in the league have him on a PP unit?

What a shock, the worst shootout team in league history loses the shootout.

Still 10 teams to drop to hit the bottom. They got their work cut out for them

I'll take Tippett scoring goals and losses the rest of the season. Just need those losses in regulation. If the winless streak gets over 10, does that get Fletcher axed?

even if they finish with the least amount of points, they aren't getting Bedard. Waste of time to even think about.

Just be in the top 3 and get a supposed difference maker

Getting JVR instead of Kane, was also a big major loss for this franchise.

Last place doesn't give the advantage in percentage like it did before.

I’m aware. Just saying get into the top 3. Be bad enough you have a decent chance

What of the odds of picking second in a draft and coming away with the only bum in the top 5?
- PLindbergh31

The 2023 draft pretty deep compared to this year draft. 3-4 franchise guys in it.
