Oh sure, hopefully it does cause I am running out of room for Snow plowing. My Wife had me put up 2 of those metal Christmas Trees made out of lights in are front yard. One was 4ft and one was 6ft, can't see the 4ft one anymore.

The worst snow I ever remember came December 2020. I just finished my last final for the semester at UB and was driving home for winter break. I loved driving in the snow. It's like martial law and you don't have to follow rules of the road. Think some areas got up to 6 feet? Snow was collapsing roofs all over Buffalo. Is it worse than that?

2001 was the worst one I remember... 83" over 5 days.
I was 3 in 1977 but I vaguely remember sledding off the roof of our house.

If the Bills miss the playoffs, or get in as a Wild Card, only to get bounced in the first round, who do you fire, and who do you replace them with?

This is just the classic Buffalo storm. South Buffalo and everything south gets hammered, and Noth Buffalo has sunny skies today. This is how they happen and why the northtowns are better than the southtowns.

Blizzard of 2001

The next “biggie” started with a welcomed “White Christmas” on December 24, 2001. During the week before Christmas Buffalo basked in “balmy” 60-degree temperatures. In fact, Public Radio’s Garrison Keillor joked with a sold-out Shea’s on Dec. 22 about Buffalo’s lack of snow. When the snow eventually started to fly, the epic storm dumped over seven feet of white stuff on the Queen City. The heaviest hit parts: South Buffalo and West Seneca. 70 to 85 inches! This storm afforded me a great opportunity to “Pub Hop” on Abbott Road as hundreds of people partied into the night as a cure for “cabin fever.”

Almost forgot 1985...

On January 18, 1985, Buffalo was hit by the “Six Pack Blizzard.” The storm dropped 33.2 inches of snow with winds gusting to 53 mph. It was during this storm that Mayor Jimmy Griffin told Buffalonians to “Stay inside, grab a six-pack and watch a good football game.” This by far is one of the best lines EVER voiced by a political leader. The storm dropped 33.2 inches with winds gusting to 53 mph.

Remember it well, was unbelieveable. Was around 19 at the time, my buddy and I spent from around 11:00am untill 5:00 driving a couple people home...man we pushed so many cars that were stranded...next day or day after was spent digging out friends cars, literally couldn't see them, just dug in front of their house where we knew it was parked.

I'm glad I'm in Florida, 60 years was enough if that poop.

Thought was 115 games, but yeah first ever. Up against the young McGretzky too, very nice.

First round of the day at 7 am took me damn near 3 hours. I have a pretty long driveway but the bigger problem was that the snow was essentially slush, and I already had 2 feet of it.

Ive done two rounds since and it's been much easier. Probably have 3+ feet here in EA

Stay safe out there, my fellow southtowners

Yeah I was out at 4, my Wife had to go to Work at Tops, had to be a couple feet then. Needless to say she never made it, ended up in a Ditch on Scranton Rd, had to go pull her out at like 5 or so. Piles are so high on the driveway now, that as the snow shoots from the shute on the blower it just hits the pile and falls back into the driveway. Started of with a 2 car driveway now I can barely fit my Terrain.

The thing is, dummy, you keep avoiding the simple fact 31 teams in the NHL significantly out hit Buffalo, not just out hit Buffalo. So, it's you and the Sabres v the entire rest of the NHL.
- lacaprup

If the Sabres started hitting more,
it doesn’t necessarily mean we’d win more
