I could not care lesss about goaltending right now. We have way more glaring problems in the defense and Peyton Krebs is still getting ice time.

That kid should be sat for the next 6 games at least.

He'd be in Roch making 82.5k. I don't make much of him wanting to stay in college this year.

my bigger concern is portillo and johnson was drafted by this team, clearly have spots for them and they would rather delay their nhl entry vs playing with us

Not what I said,

I'd prefer to find a replacement for Bryson and have him as the 7th. But finding Power a real top4 RD should be the next biggest move for this team. Bryson has been fine in games where he doesn't play to much so replacing him later than sooner is fine with me.

I really have to agree with you about all of this. There is no reason to play College Hockey for both Portillo and Levi, I think neither plays for us and I am an optimist by nature.

Probably 5 or 6 of us that have been saying that for atleast 2yrs. It was a huge mistake by all Departments for Sabres in if they new how light this upcoming draft was on D that they didn't atleast use 1 high pick on a Defenseman this past draft. That is another position like Goalie that Adams really hasn't done anything.

Portillo is essentially a FA. He shouldn't even be brought up anymore. Johnson isn't far behind him.

I still cant believe he didn't get Bear even just for depth, or Miller off waivers from Boston but grabs another small forward whos skill has never translated to the NHL. Like was he not watching this team suffer on in their own end... how do you justify grabbing Jost over the other 2.. These questions need to be asked and answered

This summer Kevy Adams couldn't find enough microphones and cameras to speak into while the rookie camp and prospect tournament were sold out. Anyone seen him lately? We know he's alive because he claimed another tiny forward who might as well be a Mitts clone off waivers. No doubt Jost is a brilliant find by the two smartest men in the NHL: Ventura and Karamanos. Remember they had more to do with the Penguins than Sid, Geno, Letang, and Flower.

Rochester is going through a rash of injuries, think getting Jost was to help there a bit.

Not wanting to pay him over 5mill was a big thing here. But Adams could have avoided that the year before if he would of signed him to a multi-year then.
