That's not a penalty. It was a good hit by Stutzle. |

soccer refs have got nothing on nhl refs, worst officiating of any sport |

the level of ass kissing by the SN announcers is unreal..coaching not the problem...forsberg is long term #1 for OTT, idk if they pretenting to be morons or just are morons - Mithos
Their jobs depend on maintaining a good working relationship with management so I guess they fit both of those options. |

Eric Karlsson. No!!!!!!! - spatso
they are seriously ok (the SN analysts) with a last placed team giving up their 1st round pick for a 32 YO Dman know for his offense, with only so so defense making 11.5M.. they are freaking morons |

Karlsson rumours are strange but somewhat intriguing if you can use Norris as a big piece while having San Jose eat some salary and somehow not use your 2023 1st rounder.
Probably not much to the speculation though and Karlsson is playing at a rate that isn't sustainable and has regressed over the last couple of seasons. |

Missed most of the 1st period but the Sanderson highlight package looked good. Doesn't seem out of place with the increased ice time overall the last couple of games. |

seems sens players forgot how to keep their stick on the ice... |

Man these guys are determined to lose. |

You can't be serious. You want to even give up Norris? |

Nice pressure. It's like they woke up all of a sudden. Nice goal by Tkachuk. |

This is a rumour site. Might as well discuss the rumour.
Define "want to give up". In any Karlsson trade, as far fetched as it may be, salary movement will need to happen. You don't want to give up Norris but you have to evaluate what would potentially make it work. I made a stab.
Do I want Karlsson back in a Sens jersey? Sure. Why not. He was one of the most polarizing players in franchise history and is playing great right now. It's a nice fantasy.
Do I think it's realistic, smart, or viable? Not in the slightest. His level of play is not sustainable and his last couple of season, he has shown regression. |

But...as soon as they score, they let up.

Lots of talking heads want to blame coaching. But you will notice how all the commentators who have actually played the game (Methot, Galley) are pretty strong in saying it has nothing to do with coaching.
I don't think it really matters. Unlikely Dorion or DJ survives ownership change. Just the way it is. New owner always wants his own guy as GM. First job of GM is the name the head coach.

OK. Just a question about one little thing. Do you think the coach had anything to do with the change that resulted in that 2 on 0 break? |

I was close to suggesting Chabot for Karlsson straight up. |

Problem with any consideration of Karlsson is the question of term. Most of the Sens young guys are still 3 to 4 years away from hitting peak performance levels. Love Karlsson. But, I fear, he will not age well.

Sens 6 points out of playoff spot. Not an entirely lost cause. |

Sort of an ugly win but when you are struggling, you will take it.
I feel Sanderson played the best game by a d-man this year for the Sens. He was everywhere and a force. Very impressive. |
