Yeah? I'll have to add 15 to my list now so I can compare.
I REALLY enjoy the Murray Hill Club from Joseph Magnus.
Buffalo Trace, Sazerac, and Eagle Rare are some of my favorite bottles so that makes sense EH Taylor would be delicious.
I'm just now getting into the higher priced bourbons as I'm finding out they are more pleasant on the palate, rather than just making old fashioneds with my usual 1792 or Old Forester 100 haha.
Is there a specific from EH Taylor you like? Small batch? I'll have to see what we have in our local stores.
I really want to get a bottle of Remus Repeal Reserve 6 soon and give that one a shot. I want to try Smoke Wagon U/U too.
My colleagues at work got me a bottle of Widow Jane and Angels Envy as our wedding gift. - j.boyd919
Angels Envy was a favorite for a long time. EH taylor Small Batch is the one really like. Another good one is Belfour, made by none other than Eddie the Eagle! It’s very smooth and slightly sweet. I have found that I prefer smoothness over flavor and prefer a bourbon that mixes well with Pepsi Zero. Blanton’s is another go to for me. Not a big fan of Buffalo Trace because it’s a bit on the harsh side for my liking. I’ve not tried Widow Jane yet. I’ve had Remus Repeal V and really dig it. Elijah Craig is a good daily drinker as is Eagle Rare 10.

My go to mixed drink is an old fashioned. I use a simple syrup from New Orleans with some Orange Cream bitters and a dash of cherry juice and it's really good. I pretty much bounce between Trace, OF100 and Sazerac on my mixes. I've yet to have Blantons because it's always so god damn expensive at the store and since it's just another Buffalo Trace product, I just buy BT. Elijah Craig is really good too, I do like that one as well.
If you like them smooth you should definitely try the Joseph Magnus Murray Hill Club, that's legit the smoothest bourbon I've had. Widow Jane was pretty smooth too.

Hmmm...so Rust gets bumped up to the first line and Geno/Zucker go on a tear and the first line looks like trash...gets bumped off the first line and they look like a first line again and Geno/Zucker are quiet. |

He’s just plain awful right now. I can’t believe he would loose his head, hands and speed all in one summer.
Something has to be bothering him. Other than being goalless in 13 games |

Maybe he's bothered by what he's going to do with 31mil guaranteed.

I will try those. BT and Blanton’s aren’t anything alike. Not to my taste buds anyway. They have recently begun stocking the shelves with Blanton’s more often so the price is around $70 a bottle around here, though i’ve seen it for as much as $250. Keep your eye out and nab a bottle if you can. If you go to a bar with a decent selection, get you a pour of it, you will not be disappointed. Or hell, if you’re driving through bama on 65, swing by and we’ll do a shot, haha |

He didn't really look like this before I went to Florida for two weeks and no one was calling him out or saying much bad about him. Could be dealing with something nagging. |

I'm digging that 4th line...to my eyes the best looking line last night. They were on the road getting some tough matchups throughout the game and usually owned Minny's zone when on the ice. It was nice to see. |

I've never ever met a hockey player that doesn't want to win...even in shinny games or scrimmages. One of the biggest reasons these guys made it where they are, and are making millions, is because by nature they are competitive as fvck. They don't want to lose nor are they ok with it.
Rust has always been a bit streaky over the years...a lot of the top 6 forwards in the league are. Its only the elite guys that are flirting with, or surpassing, a point per game. I think he'll start producing in bunches again sooner or later. |

Jarry has played 10 games.
In his last 6 starts:
SV%: .826 .881 .893 .850 .857 .872
GAA: 4.03 4.92 3.08 5.67 4.06 6.01
In his first 4 starts:
SV%: .906 .975 .944 .929
GAA: 3.04 1.00 2.01 2.02
This is a major issue yet I see no one calling him out much. He hasn't even given average goaltending his last 6 starts, let alone solid. Skater mental breakdowns, giveaways and overall sloppy play are definitely factors here but he could still be much better. If he was even average in the last 6 starts the Pens might have at least a few more standings points, and that's just average, if he was All Star Jarry they might be top 3 in division currently. |

You know what's wild though? We have some places down here that sell BT and Baby Saz for $50-60! I have a few place where I can get them for $25-30 which is what I know they are worth, but some of the shops down here jack up the price of all the Buffalo Trace Distillery products because they're so "hard to get" down here. They even limit customers to 1 bottle of BT. lol

Both tenders started well and have fallen off. They have gotten called out. Sully has been trying to play the hot tender. Problem is neither can claim that title for more than a game.
Rust is just getting called out more because it makes no sense why he’s so bad. Has to be an injury.
Whatever it is, Sully is trying to force him out of it. Rak should’ve had his PP spot weeks ago.

I agree, I'd move Rik, who's also a righty, up to top PP in place of Rust for now as well.

"@JoshYohe_PGH
If you’re the glass half full type, here are the Penguins point totals through 17 games in past seasons:
2022-23: 17 points in 17 games *11 of 17 on road
2021-22: 18 points in 17 games
2020-21: 20 points in 17 games
2019-20: 21 points in 17 games
2018-19: 17 points in 17 games"
The crazy good first four or five games with wins, then going into all that losing makes it feel more dire than perhaps it is, I think...and now in the last 5 games they're 3-1-1 |

No doubt a decent winning streak would put us where we'd like to be, but I don't know how many of us believe that this team really has that in them the way they are currently playing.
