Barzal with an ill-timed penalty. The guy has been working hard. Lots of TOI. Probably just fatigue.

Yup, they don't have enough skill to keep getting outworked the first 30-40 minutes of each game.

Hope they do too. Serves them right. Lazy (frank)ing hockey for the first 30 minutes doesn’t get it done. Lane needs to address and change this.

They play from the drop like thay did the second half then the game is over after the first. Frustrating that they need half a game to start playing full tilt.

No excuses. Team needs to be ready to play from the drop. That’s on the coach at this point when it becomes a habit.
It’s unacceptable when you’re giving any team in the league a 2 goal lead after 1. Bottom line they play the hockey they are capable of playing from the start the games over after 1 period.

Man was that frustrating to watch. They just ran out of time and took 2 Meh penalties at the wrong time. annoying that they scored enough to come back in the 3rd but the Mayfield trip cost them another goal... just was too big a hole they dug themselves into in the first period.

Not sure why this team continues to come out so flat...

the shift with Brock centering Beau and Barzal kinda set them on fire though... just saying.

The preds are a great club with tremendous talent. The isles came out flat, but they def showed they can hang with any team. The theme of their losses is simply taking bad penalties, and starting games flat. 5 posts is rough......one of those goes in its a different outcome.

Yeah I’m usually a loyal guy to the end of the game. But they opened so flat I actually thought they didn’t have it in them to come back. The pesky isles are resilient. They’re gonna have to come out wanting it more on Saturday night. Stars are also a great club.

Be interesting to see if Bailey sits a third straight game. If he does I have to believe he’s being shopped. It’s a fair amount of salary being sat, with no injury. Also, a game or two sitting teaches a lesson…..a third game screams something is up

Isles at 11-7 sitting at #7 overall with 3 tough games in front of them before the T-Giving milestone. To Win all 3 would send a strong message and hit 14 - 7.

Coaching needs to watch some tape and have a game plan in place for the next 3 Games.
