Bischel feels like one of those draft stock risers due to measurables more than on ice play.

I'd have stayed away from him.

I remember our discussion at draft time, you wanted 2 of the 3 1st rounders spent on defense.

Isnt it harder to develop defenseman?
Kinda like o line man, go get an older veteran presence.

Cant realistically expend any non top 10 pick to hit in the nhl. Maybe instead of Matthew savoie?

Might be part of the reason why Biro was not called up.

How much value do the things you listed above actually have?

Feels like you're hoping to turn ancillary or spare parts into something good.

Not entirely sure how realistic that would be.

Welp, not sure...just like your not sure, nor anybody else except the guys in the GM's chairs.

Eichel went for:
-3rd line, 25 yo player .... Olo? Mitts?(probably not Mitts unless a + is added)
-Krebs, 20 yo prospect ... Krebs?
-1st round pick ... 1 of the Prospects picked in the 1st rd not named a few guys (Savoie, Kulich)
-Exchange a 2nd for a 3rd

If that does hold exact value, then adjust accordingly.

Are we looking for a Top 5 C level player for a 2RhD? No.

Why do we always assume when a player is playing bad it’s because he’s hurt?

First it was VO, and now Busch and I’m sure there were others. It could just be they are below average hockey players?

That's fair, I really think the depth on defense is related to the big 3 getting most of the minutes.

All teams have a joker / bush guy in their 6.

Maybe not bryson or pilot level .....

Samuelsson has been hurt more than he's been on the ice the last 2yrs. I really like the kid, but it is something to think about.
