I had to smile when he scored last night...was imagining you mumbling WTF, lol.

Basically what I said. I know what Adams and Co. are trying to do, and I like it for the most part. Doesn't mean you can't give your team a jolt when needed.

If not for 1 line we would have gotten smoked last night. Time for this Team to check there purses at the door and play some Dirty Hockey. And I don't even mean dropping gloves, which they could use such a player. But going to the Net, putting a body on someone instead of hitting them with your Purse. I would love to play the Sabres, I know I won't be very sore or bruised up after the game unless I got hit with a shot or clearing attempt.

A tiger can't change his stripes. Dahlin, Samuelsson, and Lyubushkin are our only tough players. We don't have a single tough forward. Tage Thompson is immune from criticism because he is great. Everyone else is a bltch. Including Alex Tuch.

Edit: Cozens isn’t a female dog, but he still isn't tough.

Hard to win Hockey games when all you do is Stick check. Cozens can do it, but we don't need him or Tage or Dahlin breaking a hand. Unfortunately the Sabres don't have a player that can do that in there system close enough to help. Unfortunate that Nadeau hurt his Shoulder, he might be that player. Can play the game and doesn't mind dropping them either. But he's atleast 2yrs away now.

Going to be entertaining as hell to read your posts after next offseason's moves by the GM.

As entertaining as the posts over the years from the masses blaming tanking for our misfortunes ? Eichel is the top line C on a cup contender and Reinhart produced a PPG clip last year on another.

The posts over the years that Risto was a #1 d-man and that the analytics were wrong?

Pirouette buzz when Tage should have been sent to the moon. I’m sure you can find more than a few posts on here and tweets on Twitter that took Adams to the ringer for that extension on top of that.

My favourite one, is when the masses told me that I should have bought a house during the largest asset bubble of our lifetime prior to the biggest housing crash we’ve ever seen (still ain’t done yet either).

I’m sure as heck not right all the time, but I like my chances.

When did the Sabres ever try and win after we Tanked for Eichel. Was it getting ROR and Kane, cause if it was you don't trade away all the assets they did to do it, they had nothing in the cupboards left after it. And low and behold we have had 2 number 1 picks since and haven't gotten out of the dumpster. Pretty much been tanking since 2014.

Since you spun your response multiple ways, I'll be clear why I said your posts will be entertaining after next offseason: You think they're going to make serious moves this coming offseason. If they don't, I'm expecting you'll jump right on board with hammering them for doing virtually nothing, unless you're ok with yet another useless season and high pick.

Bruins are old has beens. That would’ve worked 10 years ago with lucic and that team

Try watching hockey outside the Sabres

Those has beens are 14-2 right now and are just starting to get healthy. Maybe you should rethink your post.

We can blame Goaltending all we want, and yes there have been shaky moments with them. Samuelsson will help when he's back. But maybe tighten up your D a bit and cut maybe 3 -5 high danger chances from each game. It might just help your goalies a bit.

The Sabres are on pace to be a worse team than last year. If that continues what makes next year any different In terms of going for it.

As is stands we still don’t know what Quinn,Krebs,JJ are, will have new prospects to develop entering the system and we will be further away from making the playoffs.

Why is next year the year to make moves other than it being this arbitrary marker set for no reason.

If they beat Ottawa great you beat a team who is worse than you.

If they lose the heat starts to intensify.

Like it or not this is the whole they dug themselves.

Grit gets you players like Fitzgerald and Lybuskin who both stink.

You want them to keep giving up the puck, making bad break out passes, and taking dumb penalties?

Because you want grit?

Bad idea. Team gets worse

- Sabretooth9

IdkY this statement is twisted so ridiculously every time it is said. The being good at hockey part is a given when it is said “need some grit”, no one is advocating for some unskilled sandpaper in the lineup.
