I’ve gotten to the point where I’ll check the box scores the next day. Half of these games are unwatchable. I’m sick of potential.

Gmka. Get a p(frank)ing goalie. Do something
- hehateme

Tighten up your D, not having Samuelsson really Hurts. You don't need to have a goon on your team. But you also can't bring your purse to every game. Sometimes you need to get dirty in hockey. Whether going to the net or actually putting a body on someone and the Sabres don't do that.

Rivet or Peters says we should get ourselves some tough to play against guys like Myles Wood to toughen up the team. He is careful not to say a fighter, but guys who finish checks. He also wondered if poopty coach is telling them to peel away and not get out of play.

Can someone tell me what exactly Adams has added to this team that’s contributing in a major way?

Dahlin was here

Thompson was here

Asplund was here

Cozens was here

Samuelsson was here

Skinner was here

He added Tuch. Congratulations that only cost you the franchise player

Power was a #1 overall pick- doesn’t take any skill as GM to make that pick

Seriously what is there? Peterka?

Krebs absolutely sucks. Quinn can’t stay healthy and when he has had not accomplished anything

I honestly am so amazed Adams got extended. It’s baffling

- sbroads24

Tage will be one of the best value contracts in the league, he deserves credit for getting ahead of the curve there.

I wasn’t a fan of the Quinn pick, and durability seems to be an issue, but he has some of the best underlyings on the team and I think the points will come.

Kulich and Levi both look the part so far in their development paths and those were his acquisitions.

Getting a 1st for Risto was a huge win, and Rosen has looked good in Rochester so far as well.

He hasn’t made a move that hurts the team long term, look no further than the team we played tonight to see what happens when a GM screws the pooch at the professional level and wastes the wet dream he was given by his amateur staff.

Sometimes it’s better to make no moves then the wrong ones.

This is the youngest team in the league and we have the salary cap flexibility to do whatever we want. We have assets out the ying Yang.

The biggest detriment Adams is facing so far is he remains patient and is trying to push a long term plan on a fan base that lost their patience prior to him being hired in the first place

Not surprised, did you go out to the sh!t hole Hinnesville or down to Savanah at least. Luckily Stewart was Only my home base by Technicality but I basically stayed at Hunter Army Airfield, my SRT Team was always there.

Yeah, had some good times on River Street. Always hit the White Castles 🏰 on the way back to Hunter when we went down there.

Stealth tank.
- PrinceChill

As tank commander, I do find it a tad bit ironic how I’m the most optimistic on the blog these days.

I’ve pissed in a lot of corn flakes during this drought when the Sabres got off to hot starts that were mirages due to unsustainable shooting and goaltending luck and I said they were better off tanking.

This loss was ugly, no doubt. I still think by game 82 this is a team that will play good hockey all year and surprise some people.

They won’t be playoff bound, but they will set the foundation for what should be a nice rest of the decade for Sabres hockey.

Tage is a legitimate top line C

Dahlin is a legitimate Norris Contender.

What Owen Power is doing at 19 is ridiculous.

Samuelsson rounds out what could be a lethal top 4 d-corps for a long time.

Tuch is having the best start to the season of his career.

Skinner is a known commodity and here for the long haul.

Cozens is playing at a 57 point pace and he breaking out like we hoped he would (although tonight wasn’t his best night)

Peterka and Quinn are holding their water at the NHL level, and although there will be growing pains, they will be important pieces of this team moving forward.

Savoie, Kulich, Rosen are waiting in the wings.

I’m happy to be here, and I don’t think Adams is just going to sit on his hands as we move into the trade deadline like most here think.

Grit gets you players like Fitzgerald and Lybuskin who both stink.

You want them to keep giving up the puck, making bad break out passes, and taking dumb penalties?

Because you want grit?

Bad idea. Team gets worse

Think most would be surprised, but most already think he should and probably should have done something already. You can build for the future while still trying to get better for the today.

Yawn. Laat year the post would have been the exact same excepr Payton Krebs and Mitts would have featured in it and we'd still be hyping Quinn for 25 goals in his rookie season.

Quinn hasn't held anything and certainly not his own. And, Peterka is another guy right now on a team of guys that play just like him.

Savoie, Kulich, and Rosen mean zip, zilch, and nada. Remeber Quinn and Peterka? We're worse with them on the roster this season. Kevin Adams drafts haven't shown jack poop yet other than a 1OA pick.

Dyaln Couzens is decent. He sure as hell isn't Spencer Knight who was drafted after him or Trevor Zegras who was drafted after him.

The only thing we know for sure is the return on the Eichle trade looks like Alex Tuch and an empty box of hope. Thank god Tuch has equaled Eichel since the trade

Amater roster construction from an amateur GM and an amateur staff.

He didn't even have to make a trade to try and get better a couple weeks ago. And were does it say in my post about trades today. Think it said "surprised, and already", did you even read the post that I was answering. Highly doubt it, you seem not to do that a lot.
