He had a decent game. Made a couple nice defensive plays.
Hopefully he continues to increase his trade value, at least up to a 2nd rounder.

Yeah, then they can select more Lind’s, Gadjovich’s, Hoglander’s, Woo’s, Klimovich’s or trade it away for perceived immediate help…which never materializes.

Damned if they do, damned if they don't

Also don't forget about Anton Rodin, Yann Sauve, Taylor Ellington, Alexandre Mallet, Marc-Andre Bernier, Kirill Kolstov, Denis Grot.

Mason Raymond 2nd best in 2 decades behind Demko.

There's still a glimmer of hope that the problem child is traded before his NTC kicks in, otherwise another 7 years of hoping to make the playoffs.
- Marwood

Nothing wrong with another 7 years of learning.

#Canucks first 13 games last season: 34 goals for/35 goals against. Team was 5-6-2

First 13 this season: 47/52. A full goal better per game, but giving up way more on nightly basis (4-6-3)

Once the defence gets healthy. Demko returns to better then poop form, going to be a lot more in the win column.

Too funny.

Let me start off by saying, I don’t hate Bo Horvat. He’s a really good player and a very nice person having met him in the summer. That said, let me explain myself.

Pettersson is just 23 years old. At 19 years old he had a better year than Horvat’s best year in the league, offensively that is. EP40’s had three 60+ point seasons to Horvat’s one. It is my opinion that EP40, given his age, even strength play, current and future projections, is a better ALL-AROUND center than Horvat currently is.

Horvat’s currently a better goal scorer, he’s better on the dot and better defensively, however, Pettersson’s improved tremendously in that department and he’s currently one of the best penalty killers, along with Horvat, on the team. Everyone else sucks badly! EP40’s puck pursuit and stick position along with his will to acquire the puck are superior. Penalty killing is a lot about desire, you gotta want that puck more than the other teams guys, not just sit back and try to box them out, that eventually leads to failure.

Mikhayev has 8 points in ten games and he’s +5 on a poopty team. Coming back nicely from the early injury, great signing!

Well, if they went off my list, they would have had Nic Hague over Lind, Ian Mitchell over Gadjovich, Ryan MacLeod over Woo, and any one of Raty, Ben Roger, Logan Stankoven or Francesco Pinelli over Klimovich, but wtf do I know, I don't have 30 years of pro experience behind me.
Also, the team would have an excellent building block, with Noah Dobson and Chychrun or Fabbro on defence.

Or they could reflect on how poorly they’ve done over the past decade or two at the draft table and make internal changes with more competent experienced employees.

Lol.
Is that the real world where you talk about something that should have happened 6 years ago, but never did, yet bring it up regularly?

The GM is there himself. Their AGM was in Vancouver to watch them play the Ducks.

What I’m saying is, who you would’ve picked is kind of irrelevant, you don’t work for the team. Unless there’s organizational changes throughout the whole structure, players, coaches, scouting, etc. acquiring second round picks probably won’t help, unless they get lucky, as they’ve not shown to be competent in that area.

I hope Dorian is desperate enough to give a boatload for Miller or Horvat!

Unless we take back Zaitsev, I doubt Miller. Even then idk if they have the space to acquire him. They have Debrincat and Zub to resign and not a ton of cap space with Stuzle's new contract kicking in.

Rutherford should be ashamed of himself. He has mostly lost assets and filled holes with scraps. The Russian(s) being the exception but lets see if Kuz can keep up after xmas.
Brock looked really slow - like he can't move his body, but it was his hand that kept him out so I hope he can get it in gear.

Hughes isn't playing very well, and OEL has to stop with the muffin point shots.

Sign Horvat and trade Miller.

I’m currently waiting at home for Amazon Prime delivery to bring my new white stainless steel watch band for my Apple Watch. These are the real issues that people in gated communities have to deal with on a daily basis.

Senate, Governor and Secretary of State positions in Arizona are all being lead by Dem’s, the red party is up in arms calling the whole thing a fraud. Close races though for a predominantly Republican state.

When they trade Horvat they better keep making trades. That's a no turning back move.

Last season when Horvat got injured there was a complete collapse that not even Miller and Petey's strong play could overcome.
