We're trading Beau again

Yes if there's an upgrade available and wally can go too. I'd prefer wally gone first

I'm far from ready to get rid of Wahlstrom, unless it's in a no-brainer trade.

He's only in his third year with the team and Barry didn't give him a whole lot of runway to make mistakes and learn. At this point they'd just be selling low on him and I'd like to wait and see how he does under Lambert & Co over a much larger sample size than 13 games.

I’d be willing to move on from Wahlstrom, but not in exchange for a rental. He has too high a ceiling for that.

Of course anyone is tradable if it makes sense.
However, in the internet GM world, in order to trade Beau you are going to have to add a 2nd round pick to entice someone to take him, he's so bad. That said I can't see an upgrade coming from trading him.

I think as far as Wally, it's make it or break it time. I think you may need to pull the trigger before the internet GM's start to turn on him. Which I think is starting to happen. Seems like Lane is using him like Barry did. It's time the kid wake up and play the 2 way game expected in the NHL. I hope he can do it. If not it may be time to cut ties with him and get what you can for him.

If he doesn't wake up it may be lower. Kinda like Bellows. I hope its not the case but he had ~ 10 minutes of ice time with Lane as well the last 2 games. The team was behind and needed offense late and he was riding pine. Kid needs to wake up.

The voice of reason and good sense has spoken. Not everyone can be Connor McJesus out of the gate. Anyone currently think we should dump Palmieri? He’s off to a pretty good start, no?

If they are going to upgrade via trade then they have to give to get and while wally has potential if we can move him and a pick or prospect for a proven player then I'd do all day

Wally has been given a ton of opportunities and he continues to suck in his own end as well as take bone headed penalties. If he has value and can be packaged for someone then see ya wally

He needs to be better, but I also don't think it was easy for him to develop under Trotz. His current value isn't all that much, given that he hasn't had any sort of stellar season...so moving on from him (again, unless it was an obvious upgrade that makes sense now and in the future) because he hasn't broken out yet.

He'll be cheap and under team control for another couple years so I don't see a ton of benefit in moving him unless they're adding him into a trade for another young-ish player.

Yeah I mean if they could throw him into a trade to add someone like, say, Timo Meier then that's great. What they can't do is trade him for a rental or a 32yo player.

Correct it needs to be for someone under contract and make sense, bo horvat would work too I think his cap hit is 5.5 million but he's a Ufa next season I believe. I'm sure a move will be made if it makes sense to lou

I'm not buying the whole Barry didn't use him correctly BS, sorry.

I think if they move wally + + it will be for a player that can help bring them the cup. I get the cap and young players benefit in that respect but the ultimate goal especially for this team and it group. However I think they will trade for a piece that makes them better obviously and I don't think they care if said player is a seasoned vet or young. Just my opinion of course but if you can add Tank ( just as an example) for the run you don't do it because he's older?

So if they trade for a vet and win the cup would you give a shat? I don't think so.
