I would agree with this assessment. I think Peca would have been higher had his career with isles not been shorten by injuries. Peca was special as he brought hope at the end of a very dark era in islander hockey.

I am relegated to watching islander game highlights. If I was the regular game broadcast they loose. I wait and watch the highlights they win.

They could use more speed as being down and coming back isn't going to keep working. I'd move Beau or wally if an upgrade was available as they are two that are playing the worst. Beau really hasn't done anything at all despite having good speed and wally really does have stone hands despite his shot

There were a list of guys not doing anything last night early.... Beau was pretty far down on that list..
1. Josh... oooh ahhh.. looked like his controller was disconnected for most of the game. Gave the puck away numerous times, left his D-man hung out to dry a few times by not moving at all when they had the puck behind net, and a few of Beau's problems were when Bailey gave the puck away on a break out he had to scramble back to try and get back on defense and took a penalty.
2. Wahlstrom was friggin horrific in this game. He didn't skate, gave puck away at least once and failed to get the puck a ton, and he took one terrible penalty and almost cost us game winner on another...
3. did Martin even play in this game?
4. Aho.. enough said.

Beau had a take away, had a couple of shots, his penalty was b/c Bailey sux.
amazing how Beau seems to play well when on better lines.. no?
