As soon as there was no call for the blatantly obvious penalty of goaltender interference with only seconds remaining in regulation time, it was obvious that the referees were determined to let the Islanders back into the game. The OT result was a foregone conclusion.

Markstrom was pretty awful at times during the game, but the refs sealed the deal.

The zebras let a lot of poop slide on BOTH sides last night. So minge about them all you want, but it doesn’t change the fact that the Shames allowed 2 even strength goals in the 3rd.

I believe we recently have a pretty putrid record against them in regulation.

Flames fans still blame their lack of power play opportunities on the “Wideman Incident”.

Barzal was an absolute beast last night. What I can't figure out is how Wally gets less ice time than Parise and Palms. If Wally was on the ice more we would have won in regulation. Lane just has to give the youngsters a chance. He's Trotz 2.0

I think cizikas could’ve been called for a penalty there but it would’ve been a bad call. The right call would have been coincidental minors with Markstrom getting an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty

Clutterbuck has been pretty good so far imo. The problem is what it always is with players like him. Injuries. If it’s anything even semi serious who knows when he’ll get back to the way he was playing for the last 13 games?
