Think you're getting a little carried away on those point totals.

Sabres had 2 60 points players last year.

Sabres are getting virtually no production from the Eichel trade right now and Eichel is trending towards an MVP caliber player.

The way it sounds its like people want to go back to the eichel era. Man he was exciting. We also sucked ass with the worst culture in the league. Yup I said culture.

We just kept up or played better than the best teams in the league. Nope we didnt win. But we will. This team is mentally strong.

I dont see that narrative anywhere.

The narrative has been steady: use the treasure horde of picks and prospects to make a playoff roster, and fix the goaltending problem.

A competent front office could have done so. They don't get moral victories and the benefit of the doubt anymore from me because they're proving beyond a shadow of a doubt this month that winning hockey games is not an organizational priority. 2.25 years into a build and winning games still means Richard.

2 years of embarrassing goaltending and the response this offseason was to lie to the fans and pretend they targeted poopty old Eric Comrie rather than just being left with him. How do you actually target a guy who's been waived from three nhl teams?

I honestly think at least 8 people on this board could have used the Sabres organizational assests and built a decent playoff team over the past offseason.

Meanwhile, Adams, Karamanos and Ventura are having their weekly circle jerk over college goalies one of whom will 100% never be a Sabre and another who would rather be at North Eastern.
