Tell me what games they have looked good in other than a period here or a period there. Montreal was probably the most complete game.
- Buff36

Calgary, Detroit and Chicago are the best games so far this season.

None of that abbrogates our awful front office from a terrible offseason. Thank good we have a half dozen more Peyton Krebs in Rochester and we watched Detroit nab Ville Husso.

Turrible. Just turrible.

$19 million in cap space and the super #1 prospect pool. Whoop whoop the future is so bright in Buffalo Rasmus Dahlin and his pale Nordic complextion will probably have to spend the future on the another team.

What's the countdown until Dahlin is the most coveted FA in the NHL?

Excluding the Arizona game which was a stinker, the Sabres just went punch for punch with three of the top 6 teams in the league in Carolina, Tampa, and Vegas with half of an AHL d-corps.

They also had a tough western road trip to start the year and almost swept it.

Recency bias is a hell of a drug.

- Pegullaville

Really, think they played a good period here and there and got some saves from there goaltender.

Losing to the 13-2 Vegas Golden Knights was the straw that broke the camels back ?

The Sabres are 7-7 with 68 games left and have the best team they have iced in over a decade.

The mood swings on this blog are hilarious.

Can’t wait for them to win 3 of the next 4 games and everyone on here to start planning the parade again.

This is the youngest team in the league that will be playing meaningful games into March.

The majority of the core is under the age of 23.

So many people can’t see the forest through the trees.

A .500 record does not mean meaningful games in March will happen, unless you mean the games will be meaningful to their opponents instead.

I see some believe the team should be shot into the sun today, while week ago it was thought to be playoff contenders.
Young team trying to find its' way, up and down.

Thank god for the stellar leadership of Okposo and Girgensons during the downs. Blind leading the blind.

Happy Veteran's Day to my fellow Vets.

I'd like to see GMKA move some of these kids for established players.

Krebs is not it, IMO. I don't see him being an impact player.

Horvat would be nice, with an extension.

Sure, and they probably left a few points on the board this past week or two due to injuries, bad luck bounces, and a goalie needing to make an extra save here or there.

Even the leagues elite teams have bad stretches.

We’ve played 14 games and this board goes from plan the parade to we’re guaranteed Bedard.

This is the same board that blamed Eichel and Reinhart for the teams misfortunes and claimed that Risto was a #1 d-man for a number of years and that the analytics were wrong.

Guess it should be expected

A week ago goaltending still looked like an improvement over last season. We've been disabused of that notion. A week ago Krebs didn't have three games in a row without a shot on net. A week ago was another week less that our crack front office hadn't sat on their hands as we give up about a half dozen odd man rushes a night with a crippled defense.

Kevin Adams can stop cowering in a corner any time and hold a presser. He can explain why he's watching another season die in November and doing squat about it. He had no problems talking to the media during the summer when the prospect tournament was sold out. Where is this coward now?

I think a lot of anger would dissipate if Adams would come out and explain why he's doing nothing. Why we should all be happy with Comrie. Why none of our forwards will check defensemen into the boards. Why none of our forwards not named Tage will crash the net for a goal. Why we have duplicates of all these soft forwards in the minors. What exactly is the forward group they're trying to build?

Hiding away and saying "process" means squat when you haven't made the playoffs with Tyrod playing QB.

Adams, Ventura, Karamanos have built a good ole fashioned Buffalo tire fire. Not the worst one we've had. Dahlin and Thompson prevent that all on their own, but the smoke is black and thick. And, the natives are now restless.

It was kind of akward feeling good about the organization for almost 10 months in a row. At least that's over.

McDavid with another unreal goal yesterday.

No, but trading the guy who just came back and scored a hat trick against us and acting like it’s not final and absolute proof that Terry Pegula and his army of yes men cronies is the problem.

When the bar is only 6 inches off the ground, that's not a hard claim to make. They're building a team whose ceiling is a perennial Wild Card team when all is said and done.

what makes you make this claim though? thompson last night looked like a superstar. he has for a bunch of games now.

Dahlin is dahlin. Power is controlling play at 19 years old. They have the blueprint of a nashville with maybe a higher end 1c than nashville ever.

Goalie is a problem. Everything else as it currently stands projects extremely well.

Ottawa leveraged their future to try and take the next step too soon and are (frank)ing garbage. why are people mad the sabres didn't put themselves in the exact same boat ottawa did?
